If it is indeed just referential and spiritual blah blah, why? Haven't we done that enough by now? *You can make a new game, in the actual existing story* Preferably by someone who understands everything and cares to get the details right, like Grimoire did for example, but yes

The way people talk about it, they seem very satisfied with the game having "cool references" to Castlevania, callbacks, nods, whatever Could it instead though BE CV instead of a reference to itself? What are we doing Did you wait all this time for Family Guy cutaway gags?

I've gotta lock in and actually play more modern games, I keep booting up retro stuff instead because it's so much faster to get into/play lol to start, no 30 mins-2 hours of setup with patches/DLC, troubleshooting the display/audio, tutorials, heavy handed everything, blarghhhh

I guess the modern game enjoyer would flip this around to say that the game design itself of retro stuff doesn't respect their time, but the challenge and open-endedness of old games is something I enjoy about them too 😅 I do use a speed-up button sometimes though!

I'm developing The Treasures of Dragvas, a retro-inspired first-person dungeon crawler RPG! Explore grid-based dungeons, uncover secrets, and survive turn-based battles. Inspired by classic games like Wizardry and Shin Megami Tensei. #DungeonCrawler #DRPG

Perdón si soy un aguafiestas, pero... Ese ni siquiera es un tema original de Circle of the Moon, es de Bloodlines (juego en el que, con toda honestidad, suena y ambienta mejor el escenario en el que sale).

wow yikes. Classic CV feels like the underdog out here and people are just agreeing with things that are made up or wrong because they don't know any better Just saw a thread with a guy saying "other games changed art style mid-dev before" and their first example is PoR fanart

I think BC's art is fine, and this could be an honest simple mistake too etc, but in other posts this account is calling people tourists who don't agree with them So uhhh Let's stop projecting, or something?

I may have to follow what my peers are doing and just mute words or block stuff etc idk, but I hate when people learn the wrong things and it leads to erasure of what I care about not that I've dealt with that before (hi Netflix show)

pixiv.net/en/artworks/623293… That first piece is Fan art with the title poorly slapped onto it. This is the source and the artist is Daburoku.
