some of my thoughts, mostly written by me, not AI language should be easier to read.

to all my followers who believe in this, sincerely - it's bullshit.
this is an era of unprecedented technology and with it comes unknown challenges, it is like a new world map in a game where only paid promotional beta testers have been before.
what is the value of discovering a counterfactual now when people have stopped reading everything?
how reliable is this tech where you chat with a bot and it hallucinates 3 times a day but you never know on what? what is the cost of discovering such bugs late for your projects?
what is the cost of discovering problems/bugs when entire world is wearing the same glasses and everyone has same blindspots?
"there is no technical moat" - yeah, for you.
ofc you would think that if you are someone who has always just wanted to get by their day and do nothing beyond what is forced on you, then yeah, sure.
but if you tell a guy like me "everyone is offloading to the same machine to think, using the same overabstracted superficially verified systems, where agentic PR count is a porn to be consumed by those who think they are doing something". if you tell a guy like me that, i would say there is now an opportunity to be hercules amongst men. there is an opportunity to really use this tech around you to imitate what fabrice bellard could have pulled off in your niche if he cared as much as you.
there is an insane opportunity to be unlimited, your moat is starting your morning where others have stopped caring about something.

"impossible standards"
every time something like this happens i am deeply disgusted by the amount of vulgarity displayed in the name of nationalism.
every such episode makes the task of anyone trying to do good a hundred times harder. you celebrate incompetence and deserve to suffer its consequences not others.
Now people should celebrate. An Indian company exits SSL/TLS business. Your witch-hunt and demand for impossible standards has worked.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Generating private keys with more than 3 digits for a world-trusted root certificate authority are not impossible standards. Badly generated keys may endanger - and have - the whole internet by breaking the most important encryption protocol.

BREAKING: eMudhra exits SSL/TLS certificate business, blames social media instead of incompetence for the same

Working in the office with the right team and right energy is priceless.
Sure being remote once in a while is okay, but shipping in person is worlds better. Makes you actually feel like a team

this proves the model intelligence was never the moat, it's the people using it
wrote a little blog summarizing all the robotics and intelligent systems projects i have done in past 2 years with my friends.
this summarizes all the things that worked, lessons i have learned and what i think is worth pursuing ahead.

Today, I'm launching the V2 of ihatefiles.com, a completely new UI, redesigned from the ground up with usability as the top priority, following first principles. So many improvements, a much better experience, and a lot more to explore :)
- Video trims, crops & frame-rate changes on your GPU via WebCodecs: 3–5× faster
- FFmpeg video encodes 2–3× faster (x264 “veryfast” preset)
- Multi-threaded WebAssembly engine
- Batch image conversion in parallel: 3.5× faster
- Parallel work scales to your device’s cores and memory
- No more slowdown when the tab is in the background
- The video engine pre-loads the moment you add a file
- ORMBG background removal and Spleeter stem splitting, running on WebGPU
- AVIF output using your browser’s own AV1 encoder, with transparency
- Animated WebP (4× smaller than GIF) + per-frame GIF palettes
- HDR → SDR tone mapping, so iPhone video isn’t washed out
- HDR detected automatically and handed to tone mapping

Today, we are proud to introduce… Mitts 🧤
State of the art tactile gloves that capture high-precision touch data for robots.
Vision alone isn’t enough. Mitts record touch and movement with world-class precision, helping robots learn to work in the physical world.

Earlier, I used to believe the best way to grow in tech was to go deep.
Master the engineering behind everything, understand its internals, and keep going deeper, reading and understanding everything I could.
But now, AI has changed the way I see this.

Humility & being grounded are most important qualities a person can have
Tech skills can be learned. But character, humility & how u treat people define u
Half-baked knowledge fuels superiority-complex. The more u learn, the more u realize nothing is too complex to be proud of.

if someone doesn't have access to computers, maybe cybersec research, at least in an undergraduate level is not for them. they can stay here because even if you shower them with NVIDIA B300s and the best computers ever, they will perform worse than someone who has been hacking from a really early age.
im concerned about a whole different demographic (people like me & @datavorous_) but you are hellbent on romanticizing poverty. I have seen JEE destroying technical talent first hand and I'm concerned about it.

You are capable of becoming way more skilled than you think.
So don't get lazy, don't make excuses, don't waste your time looking for hacks to succeed without skill.
Just do the damn work, work smart (efficiency) and hard (volume), and reap the reward.
You have so much potential, even if you don't think so yourself.
Just get the ball rolling on your skill-building, stick with it seriously and consistently for months.
You will begin to see yourself transform, and you will begin to understand that you have lots of potential.
On July 25, we hacked OpenAI.
Two bugs let us take over ChatGPT/Codex accounts of OpenAI employees (+some unaffiliated users) and reach connected services: Outlook, Slack, GitHub, etc.
We proved it with a PR in OpenAI’s internal codebase . It took us <72h. 🧵

Stopping is not an option. Distributing it as widely as possible and as quickly as possible is the best choice we've got. Better everyone have it than only the tech companies who have been manipulating you for years.
