GILA YAAA!!! bahkan untuk sekadar menikmati hiburan dan nonton konser, sesuatu yang kesempatan buat kita dapatkan mungkin belum tentu setahun sekali, bahkan enam bulan sekali, sekarang kita harus worry this much just to find out who the promoter is and whether they’re trustworthy. padahal, we’re the ones spending our own money for our own happiness. setelah berbulan-bulan gila kerja, struggling with life, dealing with all the exhausting and sometimes unbelievable things life throws at us, konser harusnya jadi salah satu hal yang bisa kita nikmati tanpa harus dihantui rasa khawatir. and why is this happening? because the government simply isn’t doing its job! nggak becus dalam melakukan seleksi dan pengawasan terhadap pihak-pihak seperti ini. even basic consumer rights aren’t being protected! pemerintah seolah tutup mata terhadap masalah ini. don’t they realize that they’re also going to lose if more and more concerts end up getting cancelled? bukankah industri hiburan juga punya kontribusi terhadap negara? tapi, secara pribadi, sebagai seseorang yang ((idolnya mungkin sudah nggak mau lagi datang ke indonesia karena kejadian promotor gila tapi ga mau di bilang gila)), honestly, i’m still deeply hurt by what happened with MELANI and the way everything was handled. i’m grateful that i still have the privilege and opportunity to attend concerts in other countries. but what about those who have been saving up for months, only to see their favorite artist perform in indonesia because that’s the only opportunity they have? maybe they can’t travel abroad because of work commitments, limited leave, financial circumstances, or so many other reasons. can you imagine how heartbreaking that must be? we shouldn’t have to feel this anxious just to enjoy something we’ve worked so hard for. we deserve to feel safe as consumers, especially when all we’re asking for is to enjoy the things that make life a little bit happier!!! 😭😭😭
