You have no idea how happy I am that the real Charles is back. The confident Charles, the Charles who makes no mistakes when he feels confident in the car. The consistent Charles. And despite suffering two DNFs due to reliability issues, he is still fighting for P2 in the championship.
Honestly, a lot of people talk about his performances, but Charles’s season is so underrated. People only look at the results, and they’re right to do so, but you also have to look at the way he’s been performing. Charles is having a very strong season. The way he has worked day after day, week after week, month after month, trying to adapt to these new regulations. He even had to change his brakes, and he’s still managing to perform at an incredibly high level.
So many people doubted him when things weren’t going well, but he stayed focused in his own little bubble. While everyone was criticising him, he stayed silent and kept working to find solutions. Everyone thought he would never be able to bounce back with the CI discs, and some even said that if Rosberg couldn’t do it, why would Charles be able to?
And yet, we all know how important Brembo discs are to Charles. Those discs and brakes are part of Charles’s DNA. And despite being forced to change his brakes, he still managed to win straight away. The number of hours he spends at Maranello in the simulator or working with the engineers is just insane. The difficulties he faced from Canada to Silverstone have transformed him as a driver. He has learned so much from that, even though he didn't deserve to go through it.
His season, in terms of maturity, talent and leadership, has been simply incredible. As always. And it’s not over yet!!!

Love the mutual respect between Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc. They know when the other is faster and don't fight unnecessary battles.
Max also wanted to avoid losing too much time to Hamilton, a smart decision that paid off with his 10th podium of the season.

This paper answers why confident idiots run the world.
Cornell University published a psychological paper that explains every terrible boss, every loud influencer, and every broken corporate hierarchy.
It’s called “Unskilled and Unaware of It.”
they tested participants across logic, grammar, and humor to measure the gap between actual performance and self-perception.
And the results are wild.
participants scoring in the bottom 12th percentile consistently believed they were operating in the 62nd percentile.
they were not lying. they were literally incapable of recognizing their own incompetence.
the paper revealed a brutal paradox:
the exact skills required to master a domain are the exact same skills required to accurately evaluate your own competence in that domain.
if you lack the skill, you inherently lack the cognitive capacity to realize you are failing.
this creates a dangerous systemic loop.
the incompetent are blessed with absolute, blinding certainty. their brain protects them from their own ignorance, allowing them to speak first, demand authority, and never second-guess their decisions.
meanwhile, the actual experts suffer the exact inverse.
top performers in the study consistently underestimated their rank. because a task was easy for them, they falsely assumed it was easy for everyone else.
they hesitate. they obsess over nuance. they assume they have nothing unique to add.
we are biologically wired to confuse confidence with competence.
the loudest person in the room gets promoted, gets funded, and gets the microphone, not because they know what they are doing, but because they are physically incapable of seeing what they don't.
the only defense mechanism is building systems that stop rewarding absolute certainty and start demanding proof of work.
