Pranati Nayak, India’s lone gymnast at the Asian Games has now entered the vault finals. Despite being right-handed, the 31-year old does all her every day stuff with her left hand at home, right from filling bottles, drinking water to everything else! She uses her right hand only during training and lets it rest otherwise, in order to avoid any chance of injury!

Starting my morning by watching India vs Philippines in Sepak Takraw
What may seem amusing is people celebrating like they have won the World Cup after every point
But then you realize these folks are literally hitting a bicycle kick on every point, the athleticism is insane
They deserve to celebrate as much as they want
What nonsense is going on!!!!
🚨 THAI SEPAK TAKRAW TEAM LEFT WITHOUT ROOMS AT ASIAN GAMES
Thailand’s national sepak takraw team was reportedly forced to sleep on the floor of a cruise ship lobby after arriving in Nagoya for #AsianGames2026, with their accommodation records reportedly missing.
NOT A GOOD START TO ASIAN GAMES!
Sports should be separate from politics
Meanwhile at the event venue of the @FIDE_chess Olympiad, the Candidates for FIDE presidency have set up their own booths where they will talk to prospective voters
Wouldn't it be nicer to keep the campaigning away from the event?
A thread on the first competition held by the ISU, decided in controversial circumstances
This was however not the first official European Championships as there were previous editions organized under the German- Austrian skating federation

It is good that the logistical issues faced by the Indian chess teams for the Olympiad is getting the media coverage it deserves! Highly unprofessional for the organisers.

Amazing scenes from the victory parade after Ganges Grandmasters wins the Global Chess League - you will probably never see @lachesisq happier!
Great day!!
Just got to know of Dhiraj's win, which I think is amazing news! In a field which included the likes of legend Brady Ellison and Olympic champion Mete Gazoz
