You know how bad of an ass beating Republicans have to get to not even pretend it was rigged???
El-Sayed: You guys love to play the condemn game. I've already been clear that that ad was not made by me, and I do not agree with the contents of that ad. Please ask me questions that are relevant to the voters of the state of Michigan. I'm running to win an election in Michigan.
Most people don't care about this like intrigue stuff that you all love to carry. It is not of concern to the vast majority of Michiganders. People here are struggling to afford their gas. They're struggling to afford their groceries. They're struggling to see a doctor. They really could care less about all this stuff that you all push for clicks

Abdul El-Sayed: “We are being actively bullied by the dumbest people in the room. Donald Trump is an idiot. He has one genius which is getting attention. Because his dad never gave him enough, because he was a nepo baby, he craved attention and used the bullying tactics to get it. But the man is an idiot. Just a fool”

Sen. @Ossoff: We will conduct vigorous oversight of what everybody knows is the most corrupt presidential administration in American history. The priorities of oversight must be the misuse of public funds, the shocking conflicts of interest, and the president and first families' self enrichment.

Nancy Pelosi, who is regularly hammered for her perceived insider trading, has made 213 total trades since 2014. Trump exceeded that number in a single day, which just happened to precede his own tariffs announcement. My latest on the mind boggling self-enrichment:

It’s time for a constitutional amendment to reform the pardon power. Trump has turned it into a pay to play debacle and a shield for his corruption. No more.
SCOOP: White House lawyers weigh preemptive pardons for large numbers of junior admin staff, as MAGA allies press for protections for lower ranking aides
Under discussion is pardons everyone in certain policy, like deportation
Does not seem imminent

Trump is going to try to do this in every single race he thinks he can steal. Vance is going to defend it. Organizations like Claremont and Heritage, which pretend to care about the Constitution, will be silent or go along with it. I hope that there is a reckoning for everyone on the right when this is over. There wasn't after 2020, and that's why it's happening again.

Whatever one thinks about Trump, he has revealed that our structural Constitution, the checks & balances upon which everything depends, is in an advanced stage of decay. Revivingit is the pressing business of our time. It's a project which should unite Americans left and right. – at Phoenix, AZ

The level of corruption going on - just blatant stealing and cheating - is bananas.
Trump and his people spend their days coming up with schemes to get rich. They don’t care about you at all.
Billions of dollars’ worth of contracts predicting oil would fall and the S&P 500 would rise were placed about 15 minutes before Trump announced a U-turn on Iran in a post on Truth Social. CFTC staff began to investigate-- then were told to lay off. bloomberg.com/news/features/…

It’s important we now have documentation that the Republican Party has corrupted itself to this degree. Republicans now support the Centralized State stealing taxpayers’ money to run ads for their political party.
The U.S. Government is up on TV with this spot --
It aired nationally on FOX yesterday during Illinois at #7 Ohio State and also during Fox News Sunday this morning
Garcia: So, to be clear, we have a president that is $2 billion richer just from this last year. We have a son whose wedding is being paid for by rich Russians and oligarchs that have connections to Putin. We have Jared Kushner, who got $2 billion for his investment firm from the Saudis while also doing diplomacy in the Middle East.
We have the Kushners who are trying to buy private islands and selling all sorts of merchandise that’s being promoted, oftentimes through government resources. We also have, of course, this insane amount of stock trading that the president himself is doing to enrich himself and his family.
And, of course, the sons sitting on boards of private companies that are then getting contracts from the federal government. The amount of corruption is unprecedented. And not only are they lining their pockets, they’re stealing the wealth of hardworking Americans, they’re stealing the hard-earned labor and wealth of working-class people, and then funneling that money to themselves and to the rich donors and large corporations and CEOs across this country.
As they get richer, costs go up for the American people. And we know that Republicans in the House and in the Senate are complicit by not calling out this corruption.

I worry that not enough is being done to stop Trump and Republicans from rigging the midterm elections by removing polling locations, intimidating poll workers, stationing ICE agents at voting sites, and stalling mail-in ballots with faulty portals.
All we can do is vote vote vote, but damn, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t worried.

I have not been an election alarmist, but I believe the Supreme Court’s decision on mail-in voting may be the biggest constitutional threat ever. If the court allows the Postal Service to decide who votes, the constitution is dead. Nothing it says will ever be relevant again.

Jennifer Welch: “We’ve got people dropping dead of measles, we’re buying contaminated beef from Argentina, we have killer blueberries. They’re killing off wild horses and they’re tearing up our national parks. These people are destroyers of life. They are not a pro-life party. MAGA is a pro-pedophilia, anti-family death cult”

Congress has impeached federal judges fifteen times.
Never a Chief Justice. Not once in 236 years.
The articles exist. The precedent doesn't. Somebody has to be first.
