The journalists reviewing Scorn are really missing the mark. Scorn is an extraordinary game. The people complaining about the combat, I guess, forgot about what made the first 3 Silent Hill games some of the best horror games ever made. /1
I suspect a lot of players, many of whom are spoiled by AAA combat design, even in AAA horror games, are playing Scorn with the wrong mindset, thinking “enemies” must be disposed of if given the chance. /10
