An amazing ECR and very proud to be Noorie’s supervisor. Read this one, ground breaking work on stereotypical constructions of masculinity in a refugee camp setting, well done Noorie!
Well done, Noorie Safa! Co-written by CRP's @rachrites & @ProfKMDunn, this study "found that stereotypical masculinities play a pivotal role in reinforcing gender-based violence by maintaining & reproducing unequal power relations & gender order." tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.…

Everybody has a precarious employment in academia story, mine got ‘slightly’ less precarious this week, both a privilege and a relief. A job as lecturer in social sciences at WSU, and name on the door to boot.
I've got a new paper out: Categorising anti-asylum Seeker Sentiment through a Regime of Securitisation with @ProfKMDunn and Thierno Diallo tandfonline.com/eprint/GJGEJ… @westsydusoss @ChallengeRacism @Geopolitics_Jl
