They cancel at month three because the product ain't good enough. The system matters, but if the product can't exceed expectations, no amount of "marketing" tactics will fix it. Why does Apple have such good customer retention? The product is really good.
🚨 HIRING: Retention / LTV Specialist $3-6k/mo + bonuses Path to head of retention Looking for a true killer who knows how to maximise month 3 retention with cancellations flows/email-flows/punchcards etc. ❌ If you believe product matters more than systems&setup for retention (dont apply) reqs: - you've owned retention at a 7+ fig DR subscription brands (supp, pet, health) - Must know Recharge, Lifetimely and Klaviyo inside out - full-time preferred DM me a Loom (2 min max): who you are, the brands you ran retention for, and your best win with the before/after numbers.

BFCM is overrated for supplements. Worst cohort of customers to acquire. Cheap and discount seekers. Save your budgets for December 27th and after.

Hand writing copy to get "better" is a fallacy. I'm pretty sure Gary Halbert didn't learn copy by hand copying sales letters. He learnt how people think and what sequence of thought is needed to convert someone. At the end of the day groups of humans have certain buying profiles. Figure out the profile and you'll know what to write and how to write it.
Quick tip to get better at copywriting: â € When you study OG copy from copywriting goats like Bencivenga, Gary Halbert, etc, write it down with pen and paper. â € Most of y'all copy competitor ads or let AI write the copy for you. Then wonder why the ad flops. â € Problem is most of you have no clue what good copy even looks like. So when you copy something, you can't even tell if it's good or not. â € When writing down with pen and paper it takes more effort than just Ctrl C + Ctrl V and will give you a better understand of what good looks like. â € You'll understand why each word was there, how the words flow together, why the formatting was the exact way, etc. So the next time you write your own copy, you write it referencing how the best copywriters write. â € After I did that, a lot of my own creative struggles started making sense. â € Ofc getting better at copywriting still comes down to a lot of reps. You just gotta get in the trenches and write a sh*tload of copy lol. â € But the few who actually understand copy have an insane advantage over everyone else. â € Few.

You can boil down retention to two words: Exceed expectations. If you do that people stay. If you don't they leave.

Our designs are still better than every "design first" email guy on this platform. If you run a health brand and you want actual good design DM.

Hiring DTC Ad editors for a client in the supplement space. If you haven't edited for health before, don't comment. Will be picking 3-5 people in the next 48-72 hours. Comment below anyone that you know & DM your best work. If you can edit different styles even better. #hiring

Whoever is writing these MarsMen emails... Do Better. Respectfully. The T market doesn't have this low of an awareness.

At the core, nobody is “better” than you. We all breathe, bleed, and shit the same way. Everything else is a learned behaviour or trait.

Everyone and their mom has used this 2/3pm crash. The market hears this on a daily. It doesn't have the same effect as it once did. Do Better. If you sell any "energy" type of supplement, DM me and I'll give you 5 fresh proven angles that actually convert.

99.6% of brand owners on X are hypnotised by acquisition. 0.4% on retention. Time to fix that boys.

I shared this concept with a guy crushing the DTC ad game, and I don't see anyone talking about this... We all know TRUST is vital for conversions, but it's not just about what you say, that's only one part. The other part is using what I call Trusted Environments that plays a huge role in silently building trust. Let me explain... Your audience has environments they already trust / will trust more than others. For example if your audience watches TedX then, they know the dark stage with the red circular carpet. Then in your ads etc you should model that same environment since they trust it. In other words you want to borrow trust from environments your audience already trust. Without saying anything you subconsciously increase trust. Same thing goes for advertorials, email, content. For advertorials, match the same structure and design style of their favourite news site.

No matter what advertorial you run, make it look like something your audience already recognises. Copy the look and feel, since that holds familiarity which increases trust. Left = DailyMail Right = Advertorial at the bottom of the DailyMail article. Just by looking at them you can sense which one is trying to sell you something.

Beliefs are hard to change because nobody showed you how they work in the first place. You’d change them if you knew how they were constructed in the first place. Here is the breakdown. A belief is nothing more than a confirmed thought that helps you navigate the world. It’s your map of the territory. For a belief to form, to be confirmed, it has to have three building blocks. Once you know these, you can see how your beliefs, or your customers’ beliefs, come about and how to change them. Every belief must have at least one of these three: Evidence/reference, authority, or repetition. Are you starting to see anything here? Your belief only stays alive because one or more of these three is holding it up. You have some sort of evidence/reference to back up why this is true. You might have an authority figure who has told you this is true, so you believe it. Or you’ve heard something over and over again until it has become confirmed as true. Analyse what you believe is true. Everything that comes after “because” is one of the three things holding it up. Now, how do you break it apart so you can change your beliefs? Well, you don’t tackle the belief head-on, because your mind will resist it. So you dismantle the evidence/reference, authority, or repetition. If you can find an exception to the rule, then it can no longer be fully true. That’s when you start to open up the mind. This is how beliefs work. You’re welcome. Now go use it and thank me later.
