i’m about to end my job search for now since i will be deploying soon. just hope i’m able to get something when i get back.

I think if more people understood that going straight into a Cybersecurity role isn't realistic for majority of people they would focus on actual entry level IT roles like Help Desk/IT Support and Junior System Administrator roles.

just wrapped up an interview with the organization’s CISO that went very well. my 3rd interview with them (hiring manager, team, & CISO). if an offer doesn’t come through, i give up.

didn’t get this job. 3 interviews with this employer. all went very well in my opinion. still not good enough…

couple months ago i interviewed for a cybersecurity manager position. didn’t get that job. next week i get to interview with the person who DID get the job to potentially work for them 🙂🙃

update: they made the right decision hiring him over me lol. he was very nice and was definitely more suited for the role. hoping he brings me in as a cybersecurity administrator.
