ALT This is a comic about Joseph Joost and Nevio from Surface Tension. It's mostly monochromatic, with speech balloons and backgrounds accented with red. Joseph Joost speaks excitedly on the phone. “I did it. I got the part.” Still on the phone, Joe asks Nevio, “Nevio, what do I do?” Nevio responds enthusiastically, “What do you mean? Dude, let's celebrate!” Joe lowers the phone, looking frustrated. “C’mon, man. I’m being serious!” He looks downcast, sulking. “What if I’m not good enough?”

ALT Nevio reassures him in the form of a voiceover as a car crash is visible in the next panel. "Joe, you're an actor. Out of everyone, they picked you. Stop trying to convince yourself that you don't deserve it!" Joe quietly responds, “...Yeah. Okay.” Nevio continues, “Let yourself be happy about it, yeah?” Nevio bleeds out and his figure gradually turns red. His eyes were still open. Joe is now coloured fully red as well, holding a gun as he asks seemingly nobody, “Nevio, what do I do?”
