Lee Chang-dong, you absolute genius. The direction is phenomenal. The cinematography is gorgeous, the score is beautiful, and the screenplay is some of the most layered, nuanced, and thought-provoking writing I’ve seen all year. And the performances were phenomenal. I’m stunned!
