So when this was twitter, we tweeted. The tweets were smol. Not too many words.
Now this is X β¦. So do we have to kiss each other? π
I live among the southerners. One walked the coast of the uk with his dog as #reparation but the others mostly do cake sales.
Replying to @bagshaw2112 @BBC
Whyβs it always left to the Northerners to undertake these gruelling feats of endurance? Sarah Cox, Paddy Mc Guinness, Vernon Kaye, Matt Baker - time for the effete Southerners to pick up the baton.

My statement on the historic repeal:
Today, I stand in profound relief and gratitude as I reflect on the repeal of the presumption of contact, a moment I witnessed firsthand. I'm grateful to the @MoJGovUK
for inviting me and others in to personally share the news that the presumption was finally being repealed. I cried tears of joy and relief, and profound sadness at the harm the presumption of contact caused in my life and many others.
This is not just a law change, it is victory and vindication for countless families whose lives have been fractured by a system that, for too long, prioritised presumptions over people.
The presumption of contact devastated my life. It placed me, and many others, in impossible situations, where the family court system failed to prioritize the safety and well-being of those it was meant to protect. That pain fueled my resolve, and since 2018, I have campaigned tirelessly for reform. I demanded the repeal from every responsibile Minister and Secretary of State during the last 7 years who all made excuses, and said it couldn't be done. It's always impossible until it's done.
This repeal is a testament to the power of persistent advocacy and the courage of survivors who held the line. It is a step toward a family court system that listens, protects, and prioritises the needs of children and families above rigid assumptions.
While this moment marks progress, the fight for a fairer, more compassionate justice system continues. I dedicate this victory to every person who has suffered under the old rules and every voice that refused to be silenced.
Thank you to all who supported this cause and stood by me during this most difficult journey. Thank you to those who finally heard us. Together, we have made history, but there is much more work to do.

The @barstandards should hang their heads in shame.
Speaking the truth is NOT misconduct. The 'old boys club' culture did not prevail, justice did.
HUGE congratulations to @DrProudman and her amazing team on the historic victory for all who stand up for domestic abuse victims!

That's why yesterday we were at Grays Inn calling the Bar Standards Board out on their double standards.
The @barstandards also clearly threaten democracy itself when they attempt to stifle free speech by silencing legitimate criticism of the judiciary.
Just before my train at 1pm I stood and sung carols with a bunch of strangers at #Waterloo it was awesome.
Stood against bull-sh*t today with survivors and sisters
We were at Grays Inn this morning protesting the @barstandards discriminatory treatment of @DrProudman
Speaking the truth is not misconduct!
Stop silencing women!

London please help. Iβm praying for a miracle, Iβve just got into the office and noticed my mums locket (in all these photos) that I wear every day has fallen off my neck on my walk in. My mum died when I was seven and her jewellery is most of what I have of her. Iβm devastated
