Couldn’t agree more. @nithyavraman is one of the rare leaders who changes her mind when shown convincing data. This is a strength, not a weakness. “Strong ideas, loosely held” is a core value for our most successful businesses. Why prefer a politician who pretends to have everything right from the start?
If ULA reform is your issue you have a choice between @nithyavraman who, yes, at first supported it but after studying the results called out its damaging impact to housing and has since led on reform. And @MayorOfLA who is, was and forever will be do nothing on reform. Easy call

This is amazing. @KarenBassLA thinks it's a negative thing to have the support of people who support bike lanes. As if wanting people to not die in our streets is the same as big oil supporting a candidate. Amazing insight into how Bass thinks about road safety and bike lanes.

A message to all sane Republicans: He pardoned 1,600 violent criminals. You said nothing. He bulldozed the East Wing. You said nothing. He interfered with the release of the Epstein files. You said nothing. He took over the Kennedy Center and renamed it after himself. You said nothing. He accepted a $400 million airplane as a personal gift. You said nothing. He threatened Canada, Cuba, Denmark, Greenland, Venezuela, Colombia, and Brazil. You said nothing. He tariffed just about everyone but Russia, causing inflation and instability worldwide. You said nothing. He attacked a nation during mediated negotiations. You said nothing. His ill-conceived war killed 175 children on day one. You said nothing. He alienated and insulted our allies. You said nothing. His ICE Army terrorized and murdered U.S. citizens. You said nothing. He committed murder on the high seas. You said nothing. He co-opted the Justice Department and directed it to prosecute his political enemies. You said nothing. It's time to start talking!!! It's long overdue!!!!

Fun (really!) fact about California. All beaches up to the mean high tide line are state land and are available for public use. Beachfront homes are prime real estate and often have multi million dollar price tags. Owners of these properties know, or should know the legal status of property in such locations. As sea level rises, as storms worsen, the Pacific Ocean is pushing inland, right under these houses. What was once private land becomes state land and courts have ruled over and over that properties built after 1977 when the law was enacted cannot expect any restitution or even build permanent sea defenses because that will harm the beaches that belong to the people of California. Properties were built on eroding shorelines and developers knew it and built anyway. Buyers knew (or should have known) what the law was but bought anyway either assuming the geologic and climatic forces were occurring too slowly to matter and in the worst case scenario the taxpayers would bail them out. They are being proved wrong on both counts. Via Peter Craven

Buses are far more efficient in moving people than cars ;)
How tf do buses have a middle part and seats on both sides but they still fit into the same lane as cars?? 🤔

Understood. Bass blocked us from auditing her homelessness program which we found fraud in and saw multiple non-profit execs arrested. We can dig in w/ a Mayor like Raman who has committed to empowering our Office to audit & investigate fraud. There will be so much uncovered.

To my supporters on the fence in the LA Mayor's race: Please vote for the one who will let me AUDIT and INVESTIGATE fraud, waste, & abuse. The City spends $45 BILLION annually and the Mayor cut our budget to do audits and investigate fraud, waste, & abuse. Vote Nithya Raman 🙏🏼

LA Metro CX Survey update: The 8 lowest satisfaction issues are all issues of disorder worsened by Metro's abandonment of fare enforcement. (worse than speed, OTP and frequency) The highest satisfaction? Ease of payment, of course! boardagendas.metro.net/board…

Kenneth, would you repost the graph you shared a few weeks ago about the LA City budget and where the city's money goes and how much goes where?

As a reminder, Airbnb has spent $1.5M to reelect Karen Bass, and made a $1M donation at the behest of Karen Bass. Earlier this year Bass snuck Airbnb deregulation into her budget that City Council removed. Airbnb bought Karen Bass.
Landlords in LA are evicting tenants to convert apartments into Airbnbs ahead of the 2028 Olympics. They're using a legal loophole to evict people who should be able to stay in their homes, and upending countless lives in the process.

Nithya Raman is the future of Los Angeles. 💙 💛 That's why no one is falling for the disingenuous doomsday attacks on her. Honestly, look at her platform at nithyaforthecity.com

it’s genuinely fascinating how establishment democratic politics in big cities has become so ossified and incompetent that they’ve created a huge lane for the left to embrace good government + YIMBY reforms, and build a broad coalition of socialists and technocrats
Former Republican Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger is opening doors for DSA-backed L.A. mayoral candidate Nithya Raman — bringing her face-to-face with some of the city’s biggest power players, TMZ reports. He hosted an off-the-record meeting at his L.A. office last week. Hollywood, business, and nonprofit leaders could ask her anything. Some were shocked he’d host a democratic socialist. After her pitch on L.A.’s problems, several who arrived skeptical walked away impressed. In the room: at least seven people from United Talent Agency — including his agent Jim Berkus — plus execs in celebrity finance and clean tech, the CEO of After-School All-Stars, and the director of the USC Schwarzenegger Institute. His chief of staff said Raman faced tough, unlimited questions and handled them well. tmz.com/2026/09/25/arnold-sc…

Imelda Padilla could have Karen Bass order LADOT Engineers to immediately implement Transit Signal Priority. Karen Bass has the ability to issue an Executive Directive to LADOT, just like she did for the Expo Line when the 10 Freeway suffered Fire Damage. But Karen won't!
why does @CD6LosAngeles force the G line to stop at *every* light in her district? concerning from a metro board member w/ an on-street light rail line coming to her district…
