Jim Morrice is a wonderful man and musician. He's played many instruments since the '60's but never recorded an album.
Given a few months to live at the start of lockdown, he decided it was time...
Please RT, listen and, if you can, buy his Magnum Opus! ❤

And the second book in the series too! Grab it while it’s remarkably good value. I especially like the opening chapter. And @rain_goblin’s narration is stunning.

Bob Newhart, who helped launch the recorded comedy craze with smash albums before starring in the revered TV shows ‘The Bob Newhart Show’ and ‘Newhart’, has died. He was 94. His longtime publicist Jerry Digney confirmed the news to several media outlets tinyurl.com/4b4jh8rz
Thoroughly enjoyed this. Fascinating and brilliantly written.
If the 55th anniversary of Apollo 11 vibes are moving you, you might like to know that the omnibus of the Radio 4 adaptation of my book "The Moon: A History for the Future", as read by @rain_goblin, will be repeated on @BBCRadio4Extra this Saturday.

So. This is happening. Part of the free fringe, pay what you can. I mean, I’m getting paid but you know, it’d be nice if the people paying me got paid. Retweets appreciated all you big hitter pals. facebook.com/HomeBody.SJQuin…

Just voted. Turnout low and polling station staffed entirely by bewildered primary school children. Make of that what you will.

Rajindar was one of more than 2.5 million men who served in the British Indian Army in WW2 and was drafted to the Far East to fight at the Battle of Kohima in 1944
Ahead of the 80th anniversary, he sat down to share his memories with his granddaughter, Amrit.

Sally Reid - who you’ll know from Scot Squad and River City - is doing something remarkable in memory of her late mum, who was a keen fundraiser.
Have a look and chuck in a couple of quid if you can. 👌
