Halfway through 2025 had to be the roughest time in my life; lost a job I’ve held for 8yrs and was about be homeless due to losing my apartment. On top of my on-going medical bill payments from my heart surgery, I was scared and it felt like everything was falling apart and my mental health was just spiraling downward, slowly losing myself and everyone around me. But I was extremely reminded by people that I wasn’t alone, and that I shouldn’t be ashamed to ask for help; that there are in fact people that cares for me and are more than willing to help me out. And because of YOU and everyone that helped to pull me out in that situation, I’m now slowly going back to a better place. I found a job and are i’m now slowly trying to pay off my backed up bills. Though slowly, I’m finally starting to get my life back; and be happy again. And I want you to know that I’m beyond thankful for everyone’s help in getting me where I am now. Here’s to 2026; here’s to being happy again.

I turned 37 yesterday. I also lost my job that I’ve held down for almost 8 years. I’m losing my apartment next month. So I’m not doing well. But at least I’m still alive.

In 2033, my birthday will once again fall on Labor Day (last time it did was 2022)
