We are excited to announce that Bennett Creative has been honored by Aggie 100 @TAMUMcFerrin as one of the fastest growing Aggie-owned companies in the world!
Friday night we gathered with Aggie companies that comprised $5.3 billion in revenue last year.
We had to meet a revenue floor and submit tax returns of the last three years to be verified.
We are so excited to be in this club. Thank you to our wonderful clients and crew that made this possible. Gig Em!
When it comes to social media for attorneys, I am the nations’s leading expert, weighing in on topics at the cutting edge of legal discourse.
We launched a Meta campaign for a PI firm two weeks ago.
They signed two cases valued at $500k each.
A lot of people think Meta is spam country.
It certainly can be, especially with new accounts.
But with the right targeting, spam filtering, and a little patience, it can become on veritable gold mine for personal injury attorneys.
Facebook and Instagram have a combined 6 billion users.
Advertise where the eyeballs are.
$660 cost per case is hard to beat in this market.
How much does a video cost?
As much as a car.
Just depends on what kind of car you want to drive.
Some cars cost $3,000.
Some cars cost $300,000
Some are for utility, getting you from Point A to Point B.
Some are flashy, meant to turn heads.
Some cars are made to accommodate many.
Some are for a very select few.
When you ask an agency or freelancer how much something costs, imagine you're walking into a dealership.
It depends.
And we are happy to advise you on the many factors.
Stop shooting PI law commercials on green screen.
It makes your firm look cheap and cheesy.
Video walls are much better.
Most viewers can spot a green screen immediately.
You get blurry edges around the subject.
Green tint spills onto their skin.
The entire scene looks flat and outdated.
If you want a dynamic commercial, use a video wall.
It creates a better experience for everyone involved.
Fun project we shot for The Law Guns personal injury firm in San Antonio!
The most joyful moment in sports is when a 300-lb lineman recovers the ball and starts running it like he's in middle school again.
The top 5% of local businesses do this:
- Have at least 50 Google reviews.
- Have at least 4.8 stars.
- Reply to all leads in 10 minutes.
- Send estimates within 2 hours.
The top businesses already do this.
If you're not, give it a try.
You'll double your conversion rate.
I hired a painter for a $10k job.
I messaged 10 local pros with 4.8+ stars.
Only 5 replied within an hour.
I ignored every late responder.
Slow replies kill conversions.
No/low reviews kill conversions.
Every business owner should know this.
It's surprising how few do.
There are two Reddit threads hating on our ad for Mike Slocumb.
I'll wear that as a badge of honor all day long!
The worst possible outcome is for an ad to be forgotten.
The average viewer forgets generic, safe commercials in seconds.
If your audience is talking about your ad, sharing your ad, and debating your ad, you just got free earned reach.
I’m just glad the State of Texas is playing good football again. It’s refreshing. Thanksgiving is going to be big!

I would rather hire creatives from the freelancer trenches than from any art school.
Freelancers know how to make a lot out of a little.
They have an entrepreneurial spirit.
They improvise, move fast, and get results.
AI JUST DESTROYED HOLLYWOOD
- No one’s going to watch that movie
AI JUST DESTROYED LAWYERS
- If your attorney submits an AI brief, you are going to going to jail
AI JUST DESTROYED SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGERS
- Maybe if you sell cheap home services to boomers
AI JUST DESTROYED GRAPHIC DESIGNERS
- Hahahahaha
AI JUST DESTROYED MUSICIANS
- I would actually welcome that for most of the Billboard 100.
AI WILL DESTROY HUMANITY
- OK, this one I'm starting to believe a little more each day...
How has Netflix not remade Lonesome Dove yet?
If you're going to recycle IP, might as well make it the greatest IP ever.
Like rockets? Like underdog business stories?
My old boss & mentor has released a feature film about Firefly Aerospace.
It's an uncensored look at a startup competing with SpaceX.
It's 9 years in the making, and I was lucky enough to be there at the very beginning as a lowly PA, editor and boom operator.
Scott is one of the best DP/Directors and storytellers I've ever met.
I owe a lot of my career to his instruction and example.
Streaming now on Amazon Prime and Apple TV!!
When I was 24, a car hit me while riding my bike.
Playing ice hockey taught me how to take a hit.
I still cracked a rib and was on pain meds for a while.
I went to work the next day.
Wanted to show my boss I was committed.
- This is when my PI attorney friends start to cringe -
Even worse, I accepted the first offer from the other driver's insurance.
$3000!?
I was a rich man at 24.
It hurt to laugh or sneeze for a month.
I still have aches and pains in that spot 15 years later.
Of course, it could have been much, much worse. I don't want to make light of the tragedies that happen on our roads every day.
Now that I work with PI attorneys, I've learned the errors in how I handled that accident. If it happens to you:
Take some time off. Call an attorney if you're hurt.
One of my favorite questions to ask attorneys now is:
"How much do you think you could have gotten me for that cracked rib?"
What's your guess?
The willingness to outwork the competition is the single greatest equalizer when starting a business.
We don't curse at my creative agency.
Crazy, right?
It's not mandated.
Intuitively, it's the people I hire.
So I finally put it in our job descriptions:
"We don't curse much. No one will yell at you."
Now, job applicants bring it up excitedly in almost every interview.
People are starving for calm, creative work environments.
