Illegal alien truck drivers who cannot speak English would not have access to the market place if it were not facilitated by load boards and brokers who refuse to properly vet carriers. Much more profitable to allow as many carriers as possible.

English Language Proficiency (ELP) is not optional for drivers, and English is the official language of the United States. 🇺🇸 Under 49 CFR §391.11(b)(2), a driver must: "Read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records."

Every illegal immigrant in America holding a CDL should have it yanked immediately and be deported. I don’t care if that offends you. If you can’t read a road sign, you sure as heck shouldn’t be driving a semi down our highways.
