I have been waiting to catch a really good brook trout on a fly this summer. And today it happened. A gorgeous 24 inch Nipigon River brookie. I released it after a couple pics and it swam off strongly. We are lucky to have well managed fisheries in Ontario. @MurphTWN @OODMag

Visited my 7th province today. 3 more and a territory or two to go. One day. First visited Canada in 1992. It’s an amazing country. You should come and have look for yourself.

I've shared 50 steelhead seasons with this man. My father and namesake Gord Sr. I think he gets even more excited about fishing now than he did when I was a kid.@MurphTWN @OODMag
