Republicans do you remember those times when a Democrat won the presidency you tucked your head and said we will get them next time? Do you remember when Republicans won and Democrats tucked their heads and said we will get them next time? Do you remember how we could sit at a bar or a reunion and talk politics without things getting heated and we respected one another even if we did not agree… we could still drink a beer and salute America? WTF happened to those days. Newt Gingrich destroyed your party 30 years ago around the same time Rush began to get bad and Fox was in their planning stages. We never had an issue until the 2000 election which was shady as hell and both right and left can agree their was some shady shit… you went to bed thinking you lost and we went to bed thinking we won… it was another we will get them next time until some powerful people refused to accept the results… you think electing a black man was our revenge for Al Gore and all of a sudden the right completely bonkers…electing a black man was somehow the biggest sin in the world and ever since that day we have never gotten along…now Trump was your way of saying since you desecrated the peoples house with a black man we will desecrate it with the most vile man in history. Are we so upset that a black man became president that we would sacrifice all our moral, religious, and political beliefs simply to own the libs? Was Obama really so bad since history will remember him as the 11th best president to date. Trump will destroy the democracy you grew up loving and you know it as well as I do. You don’t really want to live under authoritarian rule do you? You may not think it will be so, but it will be so. You think you have lost freedoms? If he were to win again you would lose far more and deep down you know it. Wouldn’t you rather go back to the days when we did not let rapists, traitors who sold secrets, and those loyal to Russian dictators become president? Remember the days when we were all against Russia and to sing their praises made you a communist? Remember the days when we used to do everything in our power to stop any Russian westward expansion? We did so well we got to see the Berlin Wall come down and watch Russia crawl away with their tail tucked between their legs. It was at this time Trump was beginning to file bankruptcies left and right… it was also around this time he developed a financial relationship with Russia by laundering their money through his businesses. This is how Trump got rich. They all bought his properties at outrageous prices. They built Trump to be a billionaire so he would work for them. Trump is a bought and paid for Russian Oligarch…he does not work for you or me… he works for Vlad and he owes them for everything, and there is no national secret he won’t give them to bring us down with him in charge… this is why he took all the documents. You are supporting a die hard Russian infiltrator for president. What say we go back to the days where patriotism meant something. Let’s go back to the days where we could have a beer despite our politics. Their is no policy we can’t work out together, but we never can if you keep supporting billionaires and groups like the Heritage Foundation and Federalist Society who work for billionaires who want to be oligarchs in a fascist state. Start electing problem solvers instead of these idiots in office today. I think you will find many liberals receptive to that approach. The other choice will doom us all. Just an olive branch
