I think I've found one of those articles I want to re-read often. So I will ping it on my Twitter.
I wrote something new. This one was therapeutic to think through, as I've been frustrated with my progress.
Instead of focusing on local minima/maxima, achieving a global maximum requires consistency. In being consistent over time, you become the outlier

Last week, @longstoriesai crossed $1M in annualised revenue run rate.
We accelerated from almost 0 to $90k/m in the last 7 months. Thinking about it, I have found one single factor that contributed more than anything else.
Back in October, I asked for help.
- I asked users for feedback
- I asked friends and angels to invest
- I asked people I had never worked with to bet on us and join the team
And that changed our trajectory.
So, I'm asking for help again. We are hiring:
- Engineers/Product-Engineers
- Marketing/Socials
- Talented people interested in what we do (whatever the role, always open to chat!)
Just send me a DM if that's you or you know someone

Do you want to know how LongStories works?
Here's a demo of how we created an animated cartoon with a kid named "Lily". It took less than 3 minutes of effort!

🚀 I can't believe this works!🤩 Want your child or students to star in their own animated show?
Now they can with @longstoriesai !
Just an image or a short description of your kid… and one prompt. That’s all it takes.
🎬 Don’t believe it? Watch this demo episode!

🚀 You can now try our first 3 Tellers on @longstoriesai !
To celebrate, we generated this video of the origins of Coca Cola with ONLY 1 prompt. Can you guess which Teller created it?
🆕 What are our new Tellers?
- ⏳ Professor Time: a time traveller history teacher. Ask it: "take my kid John into an adventure to understand how the Pyramids were built"
- 💼 Miss Business Stories: "Who invented toilet paper?"
- 😄 Carter the Job Reporter: "My uncle is a firefighter, what's his day like?"
💥 Our waitlist to create Tellers is growing. Users want to generate
- Explanatory videos for companies
- Fairies that tell bedtime stories
- Travel advice videos
💬 Do you want to create your own Teller? Comment "Teller" and you'll skip the waitlist
🤔 And if you're wondering... What is a Teller?
A "Teller" is an AI video agent that creates a video from a prompt, with a specific style and characters.
I like to think of it as the first step towards "Movies on demand".
Probably one of the most insightful talks I listened to in a long while youtu.be/wLb9g_8r-mE?si=Y2DB…
One of the core beliefs behind @longstoriesai is that everything has the potential to become a great story.
With the right ingredients, previously boring things become entertaining and fun to watch!
Here's an example. My career started in the business travel industry, but I never felt any curiosity to learn about its origins. To be frank, I thought it was boring.
So I created a "Teller" (a storytelling agent) that creates videos about the history of Business Travel from ONE single prompt.
I asked the Teller: "explain the origins of business travel to me" to see if I could actually enjoy learning about it.
And it generated this video!
Before, I didn't know people used to travel with suitcases full of cash, or who thomascook was. Now, I know I won't forget. I wish I had that to study exams when I was a kid!
💬 Are you interested in creating your own Teller? For now, this is an invite-only feature. Comment "Teller" below and send me a DM with what you'd like to create and I'll put you at the top of the waitlist :)
I'm a bit lazy on marketing stuff so I tried to see if @longstoriesai could help me out.
It has now started to generate its own video ads automatically...
So far.. Not too bad!

It's been a few days since launching @longstoriesai and one thing seems to be clear: both adults and kids love creating animated stories!
🎮 What if... instead of YouTube Minecraft videos, your kids could watch shows where they’re the protagonists?
🎓 What if... you could make sure they will learn something while doing it?
🎥 What if... you could easily create episodes on-demand about their favorite topics?
With LongStories, this will be possible very soon. We are bringing stories to life, one prompt at a time.
To give you a taste, we’ve created Professor Time, a time-traveling history teacher who can guide your kids through any historical era.
I asked a good friend what he’d love his children to learn.
We wrote one prompt, waited just 13 minutes, and then… LongStories generated this video!
This feature is not live yet. Want to be among the first to try it out?
