We've joined @mariecurieuk in calling for funding for end of life and palliative care plans in England – so more terminally ill people can get the support they deserve.
No one should miss out on care at the end of life. Yet 1 in 3 people in the UK do.
❗ That's why, alongside 14 other healthcare organisations, we've written to the Government to call for urgent investment in palliative and end of life care services.

ALT Graphic designed as a letter to the UK Government. It reads: “Dear UK Government, Almost 1 in 3 people are missing out on end of life care. Your plans for improving palliative and end of life care are promising, but they need funding. We’re calling for a £200 million-a-year Transformation Fund for the next three years. It would mean more people getting the right care, earlier, closer to home, with fewer people being rushed to hospital in a crisis. Dying people can’t wait for change. Will you act? Sincerely, Marie Curie.” The phrases “1 in 3 people”, “£200 million-a-year” and “Will you act?” are highlighted in yellow.
