The claim that more speech means less speech is an oxymoronic talking point of the anti-free speech movement. Macron is peddling the same worn-out narrative used by government for centuries to control the speech of their citizens. jonathanturley.org/2026/10/0…

🚨 U.S. Attorney for D.C. Jeanine Pirro just laid out what REALLY happened with Fed Chair Jerome Powell.
They sent Powell a letter THREE different times demanding answers about the $1 BILLION cost overruns on the Federal Reserve building renovation…
And he just ignored it.
A BILLION dollars.
As Pirro put it: we’re not talking $1M… not $10M… not even $100M…
We’re talking $1,000,000,000 in overruns.
Then suddenly — out of nowhere — Powell posts a video the other night crying about “political persecution.”
Yeah… that’s not how someone with nothing to hide behaves.
They think they’re above the law.
They’re about to find out.
Do you firmly support Jeanine Pirro on this?
A. Huge Yes
B. No
IF Yes, Give me a THUMBS-UP👍!!

America & The House Next Door
The first time I understood what America meant, I was standing on a beach on Long Island.
My grandfather had come to America as a Hungarian immigrant fleeing the Holocaust. He arrived speaking little English. He installed carpets in hotels, built a business carpeting many of them, and changed the circumstances of his family.
By the time I was a boy, he owned a waterfront house. It had pear trees, boats and a beach. I thought of it as the trophy of his success.
A few years later, a heart surgeon bought the house next door. He was African American, a rarity along that beach.
I was eight years old. I didn’t have the language for what I was seeing. I knew only that people treated the doctor with great respect. He had devoted his life to becoming exceptionally good at helping other people.
We shared a beach. In the evenings, he would go fishing, and I would be his assistant, grabbing lures and handing him clips. We fished together.
My grandfather and the surgeon gave me two versions of the same lesson. My grandfather had crossed an ocean with almost nothing and built a life. The doctor had become one of the most skilled people in the most demanding profession I could imagine. People respected him for what he could do for them.
I did not think of this as politics. I did not think of it as capitalism. I thought it was how the world worked: a person’s beginning did not have to determine the ending.
That belief shaped how I saw my own life. It also shaped how I understood America.
The idea America has offered the world is simple and powerful: people can change their circumstances through creativity, intelligence and hard work.
Birth matters. Luck matters. The obstacles are real. But they do not have to be the final answer.
For generations, people around the world have looked toward America as a place where that possibility could be tested. They came carrying different languages, histories and hopes. They believed their children might have choices they did not. That belief is larger than any one family. It is a promise to every child who has been told that their starting point defines their future.
America’s importance to the world has never rested on its wealth or power. It has rested on the example of human agency: the ability to make something, learn something, serve someone, and change the shape of a life.
That promise is not automatic. A waterfront house does not prove that every person has the same chance. A heart surgeon’s success does not erase the barriers he crossed. My grandfather’s achievement does not make his journey easy. The point is that their lives were not fixed by where they began. They could act. Their work could matter. Their choices could open a future.
That is the fundamental promise we have to preserve—and make real for more people.
When institutions close paths to opportunity, when tax policy targets people who generate active income, and when concentrated power turns the economy into a system of extraction, children stop believing that effort can change anything. When voters are given increasingly awful choices, that loss reaches beyond one family or one country.
It weakens the foundational idea people everywhere have looked to America to represent.
I think about those two houses on the water. One held the story of an immigrant who built a life after surviving catastrophe. The other held a Black doctor who had devoted his life to saving people. I was a boy on the beach between them.
They made the American promise visible to me.
The world does not need America to be perfect. It needs America to keep proving that a person’s circumstances can change—and that what a person creates for others can change the course of a life.

I've watched it happen a thousand times. A patient walks into pre-op terrified. Then they start humming a worship song, reciting a scripture, or someone prays with them—and their heart rate comes down, their blood pressure improves, and they go into surgery in a completely different state of mind.
I didn't expect it the first time I saw it. Now I look for it.
Worship isn't just what you feel. It's where you put your attention. Fear narrows your brain's filter onto the threat in the room until it's all you can see. Worship takes that same intensity and aims it at something truer and bigger than what you're afraid of—and it brings memory with it. Words you already know. Promises you've sung before. You're not inventing courage out of thin air. You're rehearsing a different center of gravity.
You can't stare at the monitor and the Maker with the same intensity at the same time. One of them is going to get your energy. Worship is a decision about which one it's going to be.
"I will bless the Lord at all times. His praise will continually be on my mouth." (Psalm 34:1) Not when you feel like it. At all times—including the holding area.
Worshiping in your hardest moments isn't denial. It's self-brain surgery. When the fear spikes, don't wait for the feeling to change first. Put truth in your mouth—a verse, a song, a prayer, and say it until your attention has a better place to stand.

The reason measles has become a problem again is because Joe Biden allowed millions of unvaccinated people across the border. These outbreaks started in migrant shelters. Nothing to do with Bobby Kennedy Jnr.
BREAKING:
New York Gov. Kathy Hochul has declared a statewide disaster emergency over a rapidly growing measles outbreak.
New York has confirmed 108 cases this year, including 92 since July 15.
Pennsylvania is dealing with an extraordinary outbreak: 1,004 confirmed cases so far this year.
For comparison, Pennsylvania recorded just 17 measles cases in all of 2019 and averaged only 4.4 cases a year from 2010–2019.
The New York emergency expands access to MMR vaccinations and measles testing.
And it doesn’t matter that HHS under RFK Jr. has said the MMR vaccine is crucial.
He has been the chief driver of anti-vaccine messaging for many years, and now ordinary Americans are dealing with the consequences of his years of spreading misinformation and disinformation.
Always a welfare system, SS must be modified. Raise the required benefit starting age to 80 etc.
I understand that the social security conversation is political poison. But I’m not running for office so I don’t care about that. Taking huge chunks out of the paychecks of young working Americans in order to pay for the retirements of older Americans who have a net worth several times higher, all to prop up a system that everyone knows likely won’t be there when those younger people are retirement age themselves, is morally abhorrent and economically insane. Everyone knows it, too, but we’re held hostage by elderly politicians who refuse to surrender power, and older voters who, as a group (with exceptions, obviously), simply don’t care all that much about the financial and cultural future their grandchildren will inherit.
Existing a long time is not the same as standing the test of time: Repeal the Jones Act. Right after you pass voter ID.
When Trump waived the Jones Act, more than 200 ships began moving fuel and fertilizer between U.S. ports, rapidly expanding domestic shipping. Competition and free trade work…protectionism does not. Repeal the Jones Act.

Former abortionist Abby Johnson on Lindsay Clancy:
"We have become extraordinarily practiced at looking at a dead child and asking first what his or her mother was going through.
And abortion taught us how to do that.
For decades, the defense of abortion has depended on shifting the moral center of the story away from the human being who dies and toward the human being experiencing the crisis. The mother’s suffering becomes the justification. But suffering does not make killing good,” Johnson wrote....
Johnson argued that culture has spent more than 50 years training itself to begin with a mother’s fear, financial stress, lack of support or depression until the child’s humanity nearly disappears—first in abortion and now in cases like this one."

Why do our young people not know and accept this? No authentic study of history might be the reason.

For the last 9-months, my wife, Brooklyn has been pregnant with a very sick baby boy. Three or four months ago, we learned that the baby had severe hydrocephalus. Back in the old days, hydrocephalus was called, 'water on the brain' - too much brain fluid. Ultimately, we were referred to Cincinnati Children's Hospital, where we were told by several of the most highly regarded fetal specialists in the country that his condition was dire. The baby's condition was 'off the charts bad'. It was so extreme that the specialists stopped measuring and monitoring his fluid level because, at that point, it didn't really matter. The MRI's were sickening to look at.
We were told, pointblank, that there was over a 90% chance that the baby would either die shortly after birth or have such severe cognitive impairments that any quality of life would be hard to imagine. We had a meeting with palliative care regarding the use of life sustaining measures and had detailed, awful, and emotional discussions about the ethics of when we might need to remove or cease such measures - which would result in the baby 'passing away peacefully'.
Brooklyn relocated to Cincinnati and lived in a hotel close to the hospital - in case she went into labor. I commuted back and forth. On July 8th, Brooklyn did indeed go into labor. Literally, 15 minutes before they wheeled her back to start the C-section, we had another meeting with doctors regarding the use of a breathing tube and at what point we might need to remove that tube and let the baby go to Heaven. Guess what? The baby came out crying - which was the sweetest sound I ever heard.
In a nutshell, Charlie Schnarr stayed in infant intensive care until yesterday - when we all came home. He seems to be a normal, beautiful baby doing all the things that babies do. He has mild ventricular enlargement, but we can deal with that with checkups.
How did this happen?!
The doctors said, 'We do not have and cannot come up with a medical explanation for what we've witnessed here'. Somehow his brain found a way to naturally clear the blockage or re-route the fluid that was causing the oppressive back up of brain fluid. During the last week, I heard the words, 'divine intervention' and 'miracle' more times than I could count. Nurses with decades of experience and esteemed, nationally admired doctors were flabbergasted but jubilant. Because of the domino effect of friends, family, clients, colleagues and even strangers praying and asking others to pray for us, I do not doubt that there were thousands of people praying for us.
I'm a practical person that certainly believes in science and medical technology, but I absolutely know, from the bottom of my heart, that God was involved in this. I give ALL of the credit and glory to Him. Prayer is positively powerful. God is real, and He still performs miracles."

According to the great, late Walter Williams, your wonderful family was an absolutely normal example of black families in the 1950’s. Before we were “great societied”.
Just had a wonderful visit with my niece and her husband. They moved from Detroit to Franklin and later Columbia with their three children, who all married Tennesseans. Their marriage has lasted. They’re now young grandparents and empty nesters. The big guy smiling in the back is my son. I’m the auntie — my son and I are celebrating them. My niece is a stay-at-home wife. All of us are conservative Christians. Strong Black families, lasting marriage, faith, and biracial grandbabies who are simply family.
What does a strong Black family
actually look like where you live?
