Quantum security is getting cheaper on @Starknet .
Falcon 512 verification costs around $0.023. ML DSA 44 comes in at $0.040, while Falcon 1024 costs $0.046.
In an open challenge involving @StarknetFndn , @StarkWareLtd , and @OpenZeppelin , participants and AI agents submitted 434 records.
Every scheme came in 2–9x cheaper than the baseline.
But the bigger question goes beyond transaction costs.
As an Ethereum L2, Starknet still depends on Ethereum for parts of its security and data availability. Preparing for a post quantum future means thinking about those dependencies, too.
An independent L1 could give Starknet more control over its cryptographic roadmap and the flexibility to pursue its post quantum goals on its own timeline.
With 93.5% community support for researching L1 independence, the conversation is moving forward. But research is not the same as a finished transition, and full quantum resistance is still a work in progress.
The goal is clear.
Stronger cryptography, lower costs, and a path toward quantum secure Bitcoin on Starknet.
The real test is turning that vision into working infrastructure.
Restore the strongest technical details.

Quantum-safe transactions, priced in cents.
In an open challenge, Falcon-512 verification reached ~$0.023 per transaction.
Participants and their AI agents set 434 records in the challenge from @StarknetFndn and @StarkWareLtd, in collaboration with @OpenZeppelin.
