When I say I teach at Fitchburg State, the response is so often a joyful "Oh! I went to Fitchburg State!" "My dad went to Fitchburg State!" "My best friend went to Fitchburg State!" Our grads are everywhere you look-what would Massachusetts be without them?

I love that we at Fitchburg State send students on affordable programs abroad in Italy and elsewhere, so they can experience the world and gain new perspectives. This is life changing for them! They return wiser and ready to make their mark. (3 of 4)

Budget cuts to Higher Ed in Massachusetts would be devastating to so many! We educate veterans, high school students, people seeking a new career, foster youth, older returning students, people differently abled, and retirees.
