Not a day 0 but was here early enough to experience the EN-speaking fandom in its infancy
It still doesn't compute to me that uma events here (whether a cupsleeve type or bigger like trackside) easily draw hundreds now
What a ride it's been...

the first umamusume fan meetup in america (2018), we all fit into ONE photo. we had two cosplayers
now, there is such a huge outpouring of support for uma and the community. eight years later, i am so proud of how much uma has grown.
i love you all so much
uma forever 🩷

day 2 cosplay tracksiders: if you don't wanna drop $30 on a small portion of food I highly recommend this place. some of the best Hawaiian style poke you can get outside of Hawaii
Bowls are huge and if you have friends, can split a pound plus sides

The romance of keiba lies in a virtual no-name in King Glory writing his name into the history books just by obliterating the early pace and altering the shape of the race
Time will be the true judge, but it has been an entertaining classic season

The Japan Ground Self-Defense Force’s Central Army Band performed a medley at Kyoto Racecourse combining themes from the 1990s horse-racing anime Midori no Makibaō and the Uma Musume franchise.
