Our second night of resurfacing works at Watling Street #Gillingham (from The Star to Woodlands Road) are underway.
ADVANCE NOTICE: Watling Street #Gillingham (Eastbound carriageway opposite Darland Ave. to Woodlands Road). Carriageway resurfacing works are due to take place over 2 NIGHTS from Tuesday 2nd June (8pm to 6am). A full road closure will be in place, please follow diversions.

Our resurfacing works at Chatham Hill #Chatham continued overnight last night.
ADVANCE NOTICE: Chatham Hill #Chatham carriageway resurfacing works are due to take place over 2 dates; Thurs 5 & Mon 16 March. The works will take 2 nights to complete on each date, between the hours of 8pm to 6am. The road will be closed whilst works are being carried out.

Gritting crews have been working throughout the night to cover Medway鈥檚 main routes.
Although salt does not prevent snow from settling, it can help prevent ice from forming.
Our designated winter service staff are working around the clock to monitor and minimise disruption.
