Last night we got to hear the VAR audio of some decisions from the Premier League season. A little thread, including videos. First, people were expecting too much if they thought PGMOL would go in with two feet and out the biggest errors. This should be viewed as a first step.

There was also a partner, 26-minute pilot show fronted by Howard Webb, and featuring Michael Owen. Some clips here: premierleague.com/news/33527… Available in full internationally on YouTube channels I think (BT Sport showed it in the UK)

The Hillsborough disaster told through the eyes of Des Lynam, who was in the stadium that afternoon for the BBC. This was broadcast in 2009 for the 20th anniversary. Both powerful and heartbreaking. A day that nobody will ever forget. ❤️ #JFT97 #YNWA

Angus Gunn is just not a Premier League keeper. 17 goals conceded in his last 2.5 games…. That’s just not good enough. Angles are poor and not commanding enough. #ncfc
