$10 says Elon Musk winds up Howards Hughes-ing it, living solo in the penthouse of some Vegas casino he buys (Cosmopolitan would be my choice if I were writing the script), surrounded by hundreds of bottles filled with his own urine.

Good example of how AI boosters translate corporate growth goals into liberatory thought leader speak.
"AI" is data-centric corporate tech that requires surveillance + massive computation as its basis. AI for everyone transaltes to "AI companies reach into everyone's lives"

Google Maps changed its URL from "https://maps [dot] google [dot] com" to "https://google [dot] com/maps".
Looks like it's not a big deal, but when you grant the location permission in your browser you now grant it to the whole #google [dot] com domain. 🤨

Wie lange will sich die EU die Provokationen dieses Mini-Putin noch gefallen lassen? Sie sollte die Ungarn vor die Wahl zwischen Orban und Europa stellen.

Trump comes back.
Trump at next rally: “Elon Musk, he called me. He said ‘Sir, sir, I need you to come back on Twitter. The company’s ratings have been terrible ever since you left.’ Elon Musk begged me like a dog. Sad! He begged me to come back.”
Musk bans Trump again.

That Twitter hasn’t gone down yet is the most resolute testament to the quality of work that twitter infra has done and also a testament to the ethics and quality of people that have dealt with the chaos and distrust that @elonmusk has been worried about.
