probably has something to do with the age rating but xenoblade also portrays death and blood so idk what the problem is. In any case, i dont think this should have been removed. They should just increase the age rating instead of restricting themselves for no reason

Zonai iconography has been added to Rauru's design in Ocarina of Time. Supporting the idea that the flashbacks in TotK are to the core timeline kingdom founding not a separate timeline. Presumably Rauru was named after the first king.
