When we were much younger, some of us watched a show called 1000 Ways to Die, and it taught us a hard lesson about the fragility of life. When it comes to death, only the mercy of God can ultimately preserve us. We can be careful, healthy, cautious, and take every possible precaution, yet there are still too many variables beyond our control. One day, morning will come, the world will go about its business, and we may no longer be here to witness it. Or the world itself may come to an end.

The frailty of life and how, in a split second, everything could come to an end. It might sound harsh, but make room for the reality of death in your plans. Not out of fear, but out of an awareness that life is fragile and none of us is guaranteed tomorrow. Someday, we will no longer be here.

Now unto the Creator of the universe, the all knowing, all powerful, and merciful God, we commit this new week. As we acknowledge You in all our ways, guide our paths, preserve us from evil and mishaps, and order our steps into Your perfect will. May the lines fall unto us in pleasant places, and may all things work together for our good. May we be a blessing to everyone we encounter, and may we never lack good reasons to rejoice and give thanks.

Sometimes, people dislike you, not necessarily because you've hurt them, but because they see possibilities in your life that they desire but are unwilling to pay the price for. Your carriage, the standards you uphold, and your inability to be manipulated can unsettle them whenever you're around. Not every dislike is a result of something you've done wrong. Sometimes, it reflects what your presence brings to the surface in others.

I had a conversation with someone earlier, and I said something that I believe in. I'm still young, and I definitely don't have life all figured out. But one thing I've come to understand is that there are two things you shouldn't spend your youth chasing 1. Money. 2. Women or men. There's a reason behind this, and it's something worth thinking about.

Sadly, we live in a generation where pride has made it difficult for people to receive from others. Everyone wants to be seen as equal, forgetting that there is wisdom in humility and that we can learn something from people who are ahead of us in certain areas of life. Equality in worth does not mean equality in experience, knowledge, or wisdom. Sometimes, growth begins when we humble ourselves enough to learn from others.

Happy New Week! This week, we will receive congratulations messages, calls and emails. We will experience divine favour, open doors, answered prayers and testimonies. We will make progress, receive help and walk in God's wisdom. This week, good news will locate us, in Jesus' name. Amen.

One of the most powerful forces that shape our daily lives, yet we rarely talk about it, is influence. No matter how mature you become, you will never outgrow the influence of other people. You can never become so wise that the people around you no longer affect your thoughts, decisions, and way of life. What you can do is choose who and what influences you. This includes the friends you keep, the music you listen to, the things you watch, and what you allow through your eye and ear gates. At every point in your life, someone is influencing you, and someone else is being influenced by you.

One of the easiest ways to succeed or fail in life and destiny is through relationships. Contrary to society's belief that money is everything, there are certain doors money alone cannot open and certain things money cannot buy. The right relationships can give you access to opportunities, resources, and even things money cannot buy. Never underestimate the power of the people you allow into your life. Choose your relationships wisely.

Life can indeed be mysterious. I made a post about sharing my Google Premium subscription, and literally less than two minutes later, I received a DM from my boss saying, “Send your email. We’re paying for a 3-year subscription to a platform you use.” I don't know who sold you the ideology that giving means having less, but that mindset can limit your life and destiny. Sometimes, what you see as giving something away may be nothing compared to what you're making room to receive.

My PC just reminded me of an important life principle when it restarted itself for an update. As humans, we must make time to rest and recharge. If we don't, our bodies will eventually demand it, and it may happen at a time we least desire. Make time to rest, or your body will make that decision for you.

An Australian nurse, Bronnie Ware, who cared for people nearing the end of their lives, wrote a profound book titled The Top Five Regrets of the Dying. One of the most striking regrets was: “I wish I'd had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me.” Many of these people had achieved what society considers success: wealth, influence and status. So, what was missing? Perhaps the problem was not what they had achieved, but what they had sacrificed in the process. 1 / 3

To truly understand life, perhaps we need to borrow the perspective of someone nearing its end. Only then might we realize how much of our lives we've spent pursuing definitions of success that were never ours. We live in a world where society's expectations often take priority over our own convictions, and sometimes, the people around us reinforce that pattern. You must understand what success means to you. You must know what God, wealth, influence and fulfilment mean to you personally. Otherwise, you risk spending your life chasing someone else's definition of a meaningful life. 2 / 3

You may reach the very peak of what the world calls success, only to discover that the view is empty. If money alone is the ultimate measure of success, why can people possess millions or billions and still struggle deeply with life's meaning? Money is valuable, but it cannot answer every question of the human soul. True success must mean more than what you own, how many people know you or how much influence you command. Don't spend your entire life becoming what the world celebrates, only to discover that you've neglected the person you were meant to become. 3 / 3
