Our family and organization join the hockey community in mourning the passing of Barry Melrose.
I had the pleasure of meeting Barry on numerous occasions. Barry did what he loved. He lived hockey — he played the game, coached in the NHL, helped grow the sport and brought an unmatched enthusiasm and passion to everything he did. He shared that passion with fans across the country for so many years on the national stage with ESPN and was truly one of the best to ever do it.
I distinctly remember him being on the ice in Vegas interviewing Ovi and our players after we won the Stanley Cup. It was a special moment.
Our thoughts are with Barry’s family, friends and the entire hockey community during this difficult time.

We are so proud of T.J. Oshie and former head athletic trainer Stan Wong on being inducted into the @usahockey Hall of Fame Class of 2026!
Both will be honored in a ceremony this November in Washington, D.C.

Let that sink in.
This is a direct attack on voting rights and a blatant attempt to strong-arm states into submission by threatening Americans’ access to the ballot box.
