Evidence suggests that, in adults, the abundance of certain microbes in the gut follows a #circadian rhythm.
The researchers found that the #microbiome maintains these day-night rhythms even when they're extracted from the body & grown in the lab.

Started using Winpath impressions so far:
Advantages:
- networked across region
- alerts for target bugs
- queues are easy to use
Disadvantages:
- Clinical notepad unusable as full of clinical request info
- Cannot sort specimens by date order etc
- Limited cut/paste
#winpath
To clarify, every time the clinical request info from a sample exceeds the character limited the excess is dumped in the clinical notepad so it makes it impossible to use as a place to record clinical patient notes #winpath
