Yes. Trying to discuss algo & THORFi in the middle of the first and biggest algo crash ever, was not the best idea or moment to try to educate. As I said in another post, it's like discussing "flying" with people just after the first motor-engined plane testflight in early 1900

This is not binary—it is about risk and sequencing. THORFi is not being scrapped because the financial products TC can enable best in class. But it will come to the forefront once some core items are landed. Mainnet is on the horizon. Here's what this means... 1/2 $RUNE

THORChain Devs will focus only on L1 swaps and stability/security between now and Planned Obsolescence. For now all THORFi efforts will be ceased. The community may wish to revisit it in future.

Terra is very likely dead. Most will extract the wrong learnings – that algo stables are impossible and that we shouldn't try. Do's greatest contribution has been in recognising *utility* as the key stabiliser. But he didn't heed his own device and chased UST growth too early.

Hard to hate on how successful ETH DeFi has been. It has been the best performing industry to convince people that they're interacting with a centralised economy when all it takes to cascade the whole thing is a batch of freeze orders from the US government to Tether or Circle.
Checking out Lens Protocol for the first time. Seems quite weird. Feels like it takes the read+write+own meme way too far. Who really wants to collect social media content?
