As promised, the kawaiicon friendli instance has been deleted, the database destroyed. All your data are gone :)

Don't forget to check out kawaiicon.friendli.io.
It's an introvert-friendly, image-free way to find people who share your interests or share informal meetups.
You can use a pseudonym, we don't take contact details, and we'll be deleting all the data on Sunday.

If Slack isn't your thing, @redandblacktech are kindly standing up an ephemeral instance of their app: goodchat/friendli.
It is a privacy-first, open-source, and not-for-profit app for finding and meeting people specifically at Kawaiicon:

Feeling unwell or not going to make it to the con?
There is a first time for everything - this year Kawaiicon will be livestreamed so you can watch from the comfort of your own blanket fortress.
So put the kettle on and check here for the streaming details on Fri/Sat!
The Friendli (formerly goodchat) instance for #KawaiiCon is up now at kawaiicon.friendli.io/
If you're coming to Kawaiicon and you want an introvert-friendly way to meet new people or organise an informal meetup, check it out.
Some FAQs 1/?
Q. It's pen source, how do I get involved?
A. At the moment we're not ready to take on new contributors (no tests, no easy onboarding path), but if you're super keen get in touch and we'll talk :)

I think that's it for now.
If you're at #KawaiiCon please take a look. Feedback welcome. And hopefully we'll see you there!
If you're not at KawaiiCon but you would like to use Friendli at another event, get in touch.

Even though #kawaiicon is still a few days away, we have a Friendli instance for it up, and you can start using it now. Some people already are :)

We've just added pronouns to the optional profile fields too, so if you've already signed up you may want to edit your profile.
Sorry for missing it in the first place!

This is the first Python package that @keira_may and I have released together.
It takes a lot of the rough edges off #selenium testing.
And the docs include have tutorials for using it with #pytest and #behavebdd so it's easy to get started.
The first release of elemental is now available for your #python testing pleasure.
It's a wrapper for #selenium that smooths our some things we didn't like.
Check it out!
