instead of liberating people from banks, BTC is pushing people into the banking system. WAKE UP

the bull case is they have a dev fund (block reward tax) that they use to pay KOLs to shill endlessly.
First day of coaching the u8 team. 7 year old tells me he can beat me.
Immediately meg him and assert dominance

Tether was used to pump up BTC, to create the illusion of growth and the false "store of value not means of exchange" narrative. BTC is the anti-revolution of the Epstein class.
Since joining Trump’s Cabinet, Lutnick and his family’s net worth has more than doubled to around $7.3 billion, according to Forbes’ estimates, thanks largely to Lutnick’s indirect stake in Tether, the issuer of the world’s largest stablecoin, via his 55% stake in Cantor Fitzgerald.

I’m not a lawyer and this isn’t legal advice but it seems the best course of action for the hacker would be to immediately engage a lawyer and work to return 100% of the funds instantly while simultaneously having that lawyer work with Blockstream and DOJ to make a deal to avoid prosecution.
Overall really dumb move. They should have returned 100% of the funds immediately initially and been a true white hat. AFTER return they probably could have negotiated a nice million dollars or so as a fee and been considered a hero either way. They could have gone public and made legit money as a consultant etc.
Instead they now are either days away or already past a point of no return where they will spend a decade in jail or live in fear of this for years to come.
Terrible trade.
Be honest - not not just the right thing to do, it’s good business and better for you.

Blockstream should have been refunded with Blake bitcoin. That was a missed opportunity
Our third-party e-mail provider has been breached. Please be aware that the email named ‘Critical Security Alert: STM32 Entropy Vulnerability’ is not coming from us, and it’s a phishing attempt. Do not click on any link.
We have taken down the domain, and we are investigating the situation, including how the hackers got access to our legit domain.
My intuition is this thread is a marketing stunt

The people building AI earnestly believe that it could kill us all by the end of the decade. This is not a marketing stunt. If anything, many executives and senior researchers will couch their phrasing in the press to sound sensible - but I hear the same people express fear privately. No other human activity poses this level of danger.

What makes me bearish on ZEC is the people who promote it... I've been here long enough to know they _believe in nothing_
On a long enough timescale you don't want to own anything shilled by them...

Stop trusting epsteins friends.
We are aware of a security incident on @Liquid_BTC. Purported white-hat hackers have withdrawn ~4,000 BTC (~$320 million) from the Liquid Federation wallet. The @Blockstream team is working on contacting them on-chain with a signed message.
What we know so far is that the funds were withdrawn via the SideSwap PAK (Peg-out Authorization Key), but that key was not compromised, nor were any others.
Exchanges have been notified and have already paused (or will pause) LBTC deposits and withdrawals. Other Liquid assets such as USDT, DePix, and RWAs are unaffected by this security incident.
Bridge nodes have been temporarily disabled, so no new transactions can be submitted to the network. Effectively, the Liquid sidechain is paused until this issue is resolved.
Liquid wallets will be impacted, and we're sorry for any inconvenience. Federation members are actively working on resolving this so we can restore normal network activity.
