We should refer to @mashagessen's Rules for #SurvivingAutocracy daily, especially now that Trump is worse than Putin. Journalists are failing to pay attention. They downplay, buy the normality, say "we're not shocked," "someone will stop him." No one is coming to save us but us.

Reading posts about Susie Wiles being the 'adult in the room' or 'least psychotic' member of Trump's staff misses the mark entirely-- she is a Russian-linked operative.

While Putin's "Trump whisperer," Kremlin oligarch Kirill Dmitriev appears at the White House as Melania's guest of honor, praises Melania for covering up Russia's child abduction in 🇺🇦, & fawns over Jared for dictating Putin's demands to Ukraine.
America has lost its sovereignty.
Glory to New England.
It's called Party Realignment.
The MAGA Republican Party has become the party of White Power and Confederacy revivalism — the opposite of the party cofounded by anti-slavery activists and A. Lincoln.
The expulsion was long overdue.
Trump says Americans have no say re: AI or data centers bc it's a Nat Sec issue & we must beat China!
But a tech broligarch who has sex w/ a Chinese spy & donates 100s of millions to Trump's vanity ballroom can sell the most advanced chips (needed for AI) to China. #AmericaFirst
The story keeps getting crazier. To recap everything that has been reported so far:
- The US intelligence community discovered that Jensen Huang, the CEO of the largest company in the world, was sleeping with Alice Huang, a Chinese spy and an executive at Megaspeed. (FT)
- Multiple independent investigations have concluded that Megaspeed is likely a Chinese cutout, which helps Chinese companies access AI chips or circumvent export controls. (NYT and Bloomberg)
- The US intelligence community also concluded that Alice Huang’s goal was to convince Jensen to lobby the U.S. government to loosen export controls on advanced AI chips. (NYT)
- The intelligence community relayed this information to “a small group of top US government officials” earlier this year. (FT)
- Over the last year, Jensen Huang has repeatedly lobbied the U.S. government to loosen export controls on advanced chips. @BISgov has done so, not only by permitting the export of H200 chips to China, but also not enforcing export controls that would have required a license for exports of the most advanced Blackwell chips to Megaspeed and Southeast Asia.
- Although @CommerceGov leadership was presumably briefed on this information by the U.S. intelligence community, @BISgov has taken no actions to tighten controls on Megaspeed or Southeast Asia.
- Megaspeed remains a preferred cloud partner of Nvidia, and continues to receive Nvidia Blackwell chips despite employing a Chinese spy who reportedly is romantically engaged with the CEO of Nvidia.
- Tens of billions of dollars worth of AI chips have been exported to Southeast Asia this year alone, and Malaysia and Singapore are now two of the four largest importers of AI chips in the world.
What is going on here??? We need answers. The question of who gets the most advanced AI chips in the world is literally the defining strategic question of our time. And not only does it seem like the MSS may be directly influencing the debate on export controls in the United States, but also @CommerceGov is refusing to listen to the warnings of the IC on this issue. What is a POSSIBLE good explanation for why Megaspeed is still receiving chips? Why is there not a license requirement for AI chip shipments to all of Southeast Asia? This is beyond strange at this point.
The fallout from this story will be massive. Obviously, the motivations underpinning Nvidia’s policy views opposing export controls must now all be questioned. But also, how did @BISgov sit on this information and has still taken no actions? We need answers.

When a narcissist is publicly humiliated, he doesn’t just feel an injury to his ego. He is forced to look at himself through the eyes of others—and the image terrifies him.
The midterms were “narcissistic mortification” for Trump.
There will be no bottom.

These numbers are going up, by the way: A Democratic House staffer told me their office got nearly 800 calls about Jeffries on Friday alone.
Most of the staffers I'm talking to describe this as the most call volume they've ever experienced. axios.com/2026/11/06/jeffrie…
NEW: House Dems "inundated" w/ calls & emails urging them not to elect Jeffries speaker
One member told @axios they got "300-400" calls in 2 days
Another said "over 500"
A third said "higher" than 500: "It's our No. 1 issue, and it's not close." axios.com/2026/11/06/jeffrie…

The 2C mark will be exceeded ever more frequently until it is crossed permanently in the late 2030s, if not earlier

Supporting Hamas has been key to Bibi's career — to divide Gaza & the WB, to prevent a Pal state.

This is what happens when a criminal syndicate (hoping to become a dictatorship) takes over a party & then a country's federal justice system — investigation & indictment powers, LEOs — and angry citizens fight to reclaim the justice system that should be serving & protecting us.
A reminder that this Sec Def timeline includes men as reprehensible as Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld. The Trump regime is dragging us to new depths in US history.

Iran’s land border is nearly twice as long as the entire U.S.–Mexico border. It borders seven countries, several of which are hardly U.S. allies.
How exactly do Trump and Hegseth think they’re going to stop sanctioned goods from crossing all those borders?
As an historian who's taught the social history of US wars, esp WW2 and Vietnam, this is striking. John Dean called Bush's warfare "worse than Watergate," Trump "Nixon on steroids." Now Trump has started a war that's even more unpopular than Vietnam. We're off the map.

Raskin: This meaningless false dichotomy comes from the media, which is: Are you going to do accountability or are you going to do affordability? As if they were in any way different from each other.
If Think about the French monarchy and when Marie Antoinette says, Let them eat cake. Is that a problem for the people of accountability, or is it a problem of affordability? It’s the exact same thing. It’s government in the interest of a tiny group of people, so nobody can afford to buy their bread. And so when the monarchy says, Let them eat cake, that is a statement of what the priorities are of a tiny privileged few who serve oligarchs and nobles and so on, and not the vast majority of the American people.
I mean, the American Revolution began with the Boston Tea Party because the East India Company, which was this chartered, bloated corporation from the Crown, had decided that they should get tax advantages for the importation of tea that the colonists could not get.
Now, is that a problem of corruption and authoritarianism and tyranny, or is it a problem of affordability and the cost of living? It’s the exact same thing, and it’s the same with us, right?
So what’s the main dramatic price increase people have been complaining about? Well, it’s gasoline, which is up $1.50 a gallon since before the Iran War started, right? In some places, it’s still $4.50, $4.60 right now. Diesel is up to, I think, $6.70.
Is that a problem of affordability or accountability? Affordability or corruption? Well, let’s see. The person who was supposed to be negotiating with Iran was centrally involved with the Donald Trump team in destroying the JCPOA. Jared Kushner was very involved in taking down the nuclear agreement that kept Iran, for at least more than a decade, from investing in any nuclear development.
And then Trump came in and wanted above all to destroy that. Well, who else had an agenda of trying to destroy that so the lack of a nuclear agreement could be used as a pretext for war? Well, Iran’s principal enemies in the region—Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Israel—all of those countries targeted Iran. They wanted that nuclear agreement to go away, and it was working. Great. There were all kinds of investigative enforcement mechanisms that were taking place, and it was working fine, and they wanted to tear it down.
Then the lack of that agreement became the justification for this illegal, unconstitutional war, never declared by Congress, that has cost the American people more than, I think, $55 or $60 billion at this point and cost dozens of American lives. I don’t even know how many thousands of Iranians now, but certainly more than a thousand Iranians, as a girls’ boarding school was destroyed on the first day of the war.
The political elite class has sacrificed the sovereignty of the USA. They pose rhetorically as hyper-nationalists but in fact their primary allegiance is to RW nations and foreign rulers — for profit and ideologies of patriarchy, Zionism, "Rapture" fantasies of human extinction.
