Been Victory since season 1. I’ve never lived in Adelaide, born and bred in Victoria, so its actually the Crows thats the odd team out. Picked them as a 7 year old in 1995 and stuck with them ever since.

At half time she found a pic of Tex in the record. She kept it open on that page for the rest of the game, holding it up after goals. Must have been the inspiration we needed!

My daughter turns 5 this week. I’ve been able to get her on my side and go for the Crows, and the one player she always spots is Tex. I’m taking her to her first game on Sunday and she couldn’t be more excited, but it broke my heart to tell her Tex wouldn’t be playing 😭

Been saying it since they started. ‘Greater Western Sydney’ is too long, so everybody just says GWS which is a total nothing initialism. Zero brand recognition in that. Just drop the Greater and go with West/Western Sydney.
