KUALA LUMPUR โ Tiga buah kereta milik aktivis dikenali sebagai Cikgu Chandra dilaporkan dibakar oleh pihak tidak dikenali dalam kejadian yang didakwa berlaku sekitar pukul 3 pagi.
Insiden itu berlaku selepas rumah Cikgu Chandra terlebih dahulu diserang sekumpulan lelaki bersenjatakan parang petang semalam.
Aktivis dakwah, Firdaus Wong Wai Hung menerusi satu hantaran di media sosial memaklumkan kebakaran tersebut bagaimanapun berjaya dikawal selepas pihak polis dan bomba tiba di lokasi kejadian.
Beliau menyifatkan tindakan itu sebagai perbuatan melampau dan menegaskan bahawa negara ini merupakan negara yang berlandaskan undang-undang.
โMohon segera tangkap semua penghasut dan penyerang Cikgu Chandra serta Zamri Vinoth,โ katanya dalam satu hantaran di media sosial hari ini.
Semalam, Firdaus Wong memaklumkan, pihaknya telah memindahkan Cikgu Chandra dan keluarganya ke sebuah lokasi rahsia demi keselamatan mereka.
Beliau turut meminta orang ramai di sekitar Petaling Jaya, Shah Alam atau Puchong yang mampu membantu Cikgu Chandra dan keluarganya agar menghubunginya melalui mesej peribadi. - MYNEWSHUB

DAP secretary-general Anthony Loke said the party will hold a special congress on July 12, in which its delegates will determine whether its officeholders should step down from all government positions.
Sin Chew Daily reported Loke characterising the gathering as an internal โreferendumโ, emphasising that even if members opt to withdraw from executive roles, the partyโs 40 MPs would still support the government led by Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim until the next general election.
More than 4,000 central delegates are expected to take part in the vote, making it the first occasion on which such a consequential political question has been decided by the partyโs top deliberative assembly rather than solely by its central executive committee.
