Hunter Church is the first US men's bobsled pilot to win a World Cup medal on foreign soil in three years. The last: Steven Holcomb. The place: Igls, just like today. In his sled: Jimmy Reed, just like today.

Replying to @ShaniDavis @TeamUSA
I bet you wouldn’t be talking if it went in your favor. Carrying the flag goes beyond wins and losses and it’s an honor to even be considered. You’re only proving the coin flipped to the correct side.

Fmr @MaineTF teammate @reedjamesk pens gut-wrenching statement on falling short of Olympic dream in the bobsled. Ex of why Games are undoubtedly the most unforgiving event on earth— 4+yrs of blood, sweat&tears only to have an injury strip away your finale instagram.com/p/BeA7JIwl6vC/
