There will be a lot of noise about the 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝘁. 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗮𝘀 𝗯𝘆 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 – Labour and the Greens competing over who can be trusted to handle the cost of living crisis. Neither, though, will address the root cause of the crisis, that society is run on behalf of those who own the land and factories.
Until these are brought into common ownership, there will be poverty and unemployment, as this is how the owners get us to work for them. Our aim is to get this message out through the noise. You can help punch through the noise by getting people to write World Socialism across their ballot paper.

A perspective on how structural and systemic working practices are impacted by crises, such as the pandemic...and how we might capitalise on these instances to support people to surface, transfer and apply their learning on a business-as-usual basis.

Is the government going to get real about taking on profiteering or, as usual, continue its false propaganda that it’s workers’ wage rises that are causing inflation?

How best can we as workers withdraw our labour in our current Neo-Taylorist context? A quick way to hit at the heart of managerialism might be a "data strike", a blanket refusal to respond to all corporate data requests for at least three months.

Education systems, professions, organisational hierarchies - all push, push, pushing us to strive, compete, meet & beat individualised targets. Yet in the end - it's our relationships, collective efforts, our connections, & sense of community which mean we can live well together.

People pass and we feel that loss. But those of us who knew them - directly or through their body of work - are then responsible for remembering them and ensuring that their voice continues.

Apparently, it's #internationalhrday.
If we could stop referring to human beings as resources, that would truly be something to celebrate for the profession.
Also, we should be talking to the people in our organisations to hear their experiences of our work.
