Iβm seeing a lot of talk about networking as creators today, so figured I would put in my two cents as someone who works with creators and not as one:
Itβs not who you know, itβs who YOU are.
Really as simple as thatβ¦

Just to add my two cents: networking can definitely be valuable as a creator, but you should NEVER rely on it entirely. Donβt befriend other creators just because you think theyβll boost your numbers.
Focus on building genuine connections and friendships instead! πΈ

Is networking as a creator important? Yes. Should it be the main thing you focus on entirely thinking it'll boost your numbers? ABSOLUTELY NOT!
Making genuine and real connections is what you should do instead of being fake & befriending others as much as you can to clout chase
What are the lore implications here

Who's on first? If you're fast enough, you'll definitely know.
ALT Sonic the Hedgehog hits a literal fast ball as Sonic the Hedgehog runs to catch it. Wait...

I wish I got to know Eric so much better. We were likely even born in the same hospital. I had the honor of sharing a panel with him last year.
His sheer range of incredible talent, equally met by his joyful enthusiasm, kindness and humility.
Not just one of us. The best of us.
