Fried chicken is usually pretty good wherever because the prep method is very forgiving, whereas a great burger requires precision cooking, high quality beef and a proper structure. That’s why most fast food fried chicken is decent and most fast food burgers are pretty terrible.

this is THE easiest sequenced glitch plug-in you can get, especially for how immediately cool the results are. changed my life as a producer, and bittersweet that it's free now.
rest in peace 💔

Do people know that they can now subscribe to The New York Times for free if they have a Chicago Public Library card? Go to the CPL website, go to the online resources page for newspapers, and they're touting near the top of the page. You just click a link, provide your library log-in information, and it creates a free NYT account for you. Sweet.
Had the system out on the lakefront and in a beautiful new venue this weekend for a double header… absolute blast! Love yall🥲🙏

I’ve been saying this for years. There should be 10 major infrastructure projects going on in your town at any given day. You should be able to show up to a bridge project with your drivers license and have a government job for the length of the project

America should have a universal job guarantee. We have so much work to do as a country. We should have centers that I can show up to at 7am with my ID and get assigned work for the day. Trash clean up, food pantry distribution I mean the possibilities are endless

NYC recently beat LA (and Chicago) to the first real deal tacos de trompo de sirloin in the country - a popular taco style in Mexico City via Monterrey.
Chicago has great tacos but we really could use more specialist type spots like Santo Taco in NYC.

I promise that 80% of the people doing this think that if protestors block the road it should be legal to kill them.

same country thats throwing up data centers the size of manhattan that use enough electricity to power a european nation is telling you high speed rail simply isnt logistically possible

They call them “data centers” because calling them “mass surveillance centers” would cause a national uprising.
The government and Big Tech don’t build billion-dollar facilities in the middle of nowhere just to store your family photos.
They are building the infrastructure for a surveillance state— one capable of monitoring your speech, mapping your behavior, tracking your movements, analyzing your purchases, harvesting your biometrics, and building a real-time digital profile of your entire life.
And they package it all under buzzwords like “AI,” “security,” and “innovation” so the public blindly applauds the expansion of the very system being built to monitor them.
WAKE UP BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE.

Hey, remember when Pete Buttigieg and President Biden made airlines give passengers instant refunds if a flight was canceled, and then Trump reversed it and then bankrupted Spirit Air?

The National Park Service ran on a $3 billion budget and generated $56 billion in economic output in 2024. That’s over $17 back for every $1 invested.
With a record of 332 million visitors last year, Americans clearly care about their parks and expect them to be funded.
