Yes, don't forget -- 61% of Americans support the ACA, while only 38% don't! A 23-point favorability!!
If prices are higher, that's because a) Trump & MAGOPs cut subsidies, and b) ALL prices have gone up since 2009! But insurance is still lower than it would be without the ACA.
Last night Jon Stewart interviewed author Matthew Cole whose book "Princes and Thieves" delves into Jared Kushner's Middle East dealings. It's an absolutely fascinating talk on several unexpected levels, & Stewart was superb - on several unexpected levels.

If you missed Jon Stewart's Monday hosting of The Daily Show last night, his Main Story was about Trump and the MAGOP's final argument before the Mid-Term election. I'll just say that it is *extremely* funny -- and leave it at that.

As I said in a speech recently, the DOJ lawyers involved in these abusive prosecutions "have betrayed their oaths of office and violated their professional obligations... Perhaps they tell themselves that guilt or innocence is a question for the jury. Maybe they felt relief when grand juries refused to indict, or when courts dismissed charges, but charge by charge, case by case, these lawyers injured the rule of law. They made America a country where every citizen must worry a bit more about speaking his or her mind, a bit more reluctant to engage in our politics."
Breaking news: A grand jury rejected the DOJ’s attempt to indict former White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson for the account she gave lawmakers of President Trump’s actions during the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol, according to people familiar with the matter. wapo.st/4jFAkbz
As a former prosecutor, I agree with the saying that any prosecutor “can get a grand jury to indict a ham sandwich.”
So when the grand jury refused to indict Cassidy Hutchinson, that means there was no real evidence. Another huge embarrassment for the corrupt @AGToddBlanche.

P.S. The play was written by Jon Robin Baitz, whose Tony-nominated Best Play, OTHER DESERT CITIES, just re-opened on Broadway last week starring Julia Louis Dreyfus in the revival.
In 2016, I saw a world premiere play, VICUNA, a satire about a real estate mogul/TV reality star who runs for president. My ticket was *the day after* the election! It was the eeriest experience...& prescient. Here's a look at how weird & prescient it was.

It's telling when someone who lies about his opponent, suggesting heinous connections to a terrorist group (not designated until 8 months ago) -- a group HE voted to send $250 million to Egypt president Morsi, a Muslim Brotherhood member -- whines of being supposedly lied about.
U.S. Sen. candidate @MikeRogersForMI (R-MI) accuses opponent Abdul El-Sayed (D-MI) of lying about his background and resume: "This is why we've got to send this guy packing... This guy is hard to get the truth out. It's like watching an octopus put his socks on in the morning."
2/2 But the funniest thing of all is to hear a MAGOP defender praise...assimilation!!!
But even better -- assimilation of (wait for it...) 700 ingredients. 100 sauces. Just not...well, y'know... people.
Please, @greggutfeld, keep making an issue about the Cheesecake Factory!
The funniest from @greggutfeld. For all the slams of Trump's incompetence made by President Obama, Mr. Gutfeld is upset about a great joke of Trump covering the WH in gold to look like a Cheesecake Factory. It's slamming TRUMP, not the restaurant!
It shows he has *nothing*. 1/2
Your reminder that after Trump's ACCESS HOLLYWOOD tape, it was Mike Lee who said Trump should quit the race, is the distraction, didn't vote for him, & if anyone spoke to his wife, daughter, mother, or sisters that way, he would not associate with him.
And went on to enable him.
Trump's approval is 30%.
Two-third's of the American public isn't buying what you're desperately trying to sell.
Understand: The MAGOP leader, who Ted Cruz fully enables, said affordability is a hoax.
Democrats are rooting for a recession so they can win.
Understand: Democrats don't care about your lives.

You know that the MAGOP knows how much trouble it's in when they can't defend their own policies & can't respond to substantive Democratic criticisms, & have a leader with 30% approval, but can only make a racist AI video of fiction.
And from the official White House account!!
P.S. I tried to find examples of the MAGOP outraged at Trump when he slammed a business, but the number is zero.
(Of course, the joke wasn't slamming a business, but on Trump redesigning the WH with gold.)
Besides, their "outrage" showed they have nothing to defend themselves.
I think the most hilarious story is that, after the many slams of Trump's incompetence made by President Obama, the ONLY thing MAGOPs are upset about is his great joke of the WH looking like a Cheesecake Factory. Loony on SO many levels.
Please, MAGOP, keep crying out on this!!
Five months ago, @SenatorHagerty said this!
Apparently, the prayers of Obama officials were heard by God, & they not only avoided being embarrassed by Trump's non-existent "deal", but when Trump bombed Iran again, it turns out *your victory* dance is what ended up embarrassing.
Fine adds: "I don’t know that there’s ever been an allegation" against either. Except there has been. Including Musk's own brother saying on camera -- with Elon sitting next to him & cringing -- they both got into the country illegally. Here's the video.

I sense David Beamer can't define socialism. Existing social programs in the U.S: Social Security, Medicare, federal deposit insurance, unemployment compensation, fire & police departments, public education, public utilities, public transportation, rural electrification...
Not mentioned in this video is not only are these former governors from opposite parties -- but Democrat Jim Hodges was who *defeated* Republican David Beasley! Yet they are both endorsing Dr. Annie Andrews for U.S. Senate over Darline Graham who is ahead in polls by only 1.1%.
This is what putting South Carolina first looks like.
I’m honored to have the support of two former governors — Republican David Beasley and Democrat Jim Hodges.
We may not agree on everything, but we share a belief that matters most: South Carolina deserves leaders who will always put its people first.
