Brooks Scouting Report

Pro Insight Player Spotlight 🔦 👤 Davion Shareef-Dulaney 🏀 Lincoln HS (WA) 🎓 2028 📌 Light the Game Combine 💡 Davion consistently found his way into the paint, using his quickness and functional athleticism to put pressure on the rim while also showing the ability to knock down perimeter shots. His quick feet and agility translated defensively, too, where he disrupted opposing guards and turned defensive stops into transition opportunities, showing the two-way impact that helped him earn Light the Game co-MVP honors.

Pro Insight Player Spotlight 🔦 👤 Treyson Hill 🏀 Thurston HS (OR) 🎓 2028 📌 Light the Game Combine 💡 The 6’5” wing is coming into his own as one of the better perimeter prospects in the PNW, and Treyson continued his emergence over the weekend in Portland. He’s a capable perimeter shooter, but showed an ability to finish straight-line drives vs. contact. He will have to continue to fill out his frame (+3” WS), and grow in his fluidity as a ball handler to take next steps in his growth.

Pro Insight Player Spotlight 🔦 👤 Ryan Rohrbacher 🏀 Bainbridge HS (WA) 🎓 2028 📌 Light the Game Combine 💡 Rohrbacher showed his ability to bury shots in bunches throughout the afternoon, hitting shots in spot-up situations as well as on the move. Where the junior impressed most was in his ability to create quality looks off the dribble with pull-ups and step-backs while still finishing on balance. One of the co-MVPs of the event, Rohrbacher also displayed an awareness and engagement as an off-ball defender that caught the eye of the staff on hand.

Pro Insight Player Spotlight 🔦 👤 Jaiden Thomas 🏀 Annie Wright (WA) 🎓 2030 📌 Light the Game Combine 💡 One of the youngest and smallest players at the event, Jaiden consistently found ways to make a big impact. He plays with composure and pace beyond his years, using changes of speed and well-timed hesitations to keep defenders off balance and create opportunities for teammates. His shooting touch already extends beyond the three-point line, adding another dimension to his offensive game. As he adds strength and gains high-level reps throughout his freshman season, he’ll have a strong foundation to build on.

Pro Insight Player Spotlight 🔦 👤 Karson Maze 🏀 Mead HS (WA) 🎓 2027 📌 Light the Game Combine 💡 The senior Spokane guard showed value as a disruptive point-of-attack defender. With a strong frame and good lateral quickness he was able to get underneath and stand up ball handlers. Offensively, Maze is a good shooter with rhythm and capability as a playmaker — although more connective than dynamic. As he leverages the threat he poses as perimeter shooter to get paint touches and create for teammates, his game and opportunities will see growth.

Pro Insight Player Spotlight 🔦 👤 Jrayden Whitfield 🏀 West Valley HS (WA) 🎓 2029 📌 Light the Game Combine 💡 Jrayden caught fire early and sustained his hot shooting, knocking down threes off the bounce, off the catch and on the move. His positional size helped him shoot over smaller defenders and late contests, while timely cuts and athletic pop led to multiple above-the-rim finishes. Defensively, he disrupted passing lanes, bothered drivers and pursued rebounds outside his area.

Pro Insight Player Spotlight 🔦 👤 Leo Onishchenko 🏀 Centennial HS (OR) 🎓 2028 📌 Light the Game Combine 💡 Leo was the ultimate Swiss Army knife throughout the combine, consistently impacting winning without needing the ball in his hands. He was relentless on the glass, pursued loose balls, and made the hustle plays that often go unnoticed. His activity level and willingness to do the dirty work stood out in live play, showcasing the value he brings through effort, versatility, and an understanding of how to impact the game beyond scoring.

Pro Insight Player Spotlight 🔦 👤 Selassie Trahan-Castillo 🏀 Kennedy Catholic HS (WA) 🎓 2030 📌 Light the Game Combine 💡 Selassie leveraged his length on both ends, disrupting ball handlers at the point of attack and walling off straight-line drives. Offensively, he used a long first step and quick finishes off the glass to score in traffic while showing his range beyond the arc. He also flashed open-court playmaking, making sound reads to set up teammates for easy buckets.
