Ireland 15s 1-0 down to Cambodia at half time. Big second half needed to turn it around and secure top spot.

Ireland U16 international Charlie Cummins is currently on trial at Sheffield United! ⚔️ The Drogheda United midfielder is spending the week with the Blades until Friday, linking up with their U16 and U18 sides. Cummins became Drogheda’s youngest-ever first-team player when he made his debut in a friendly against Trabzonspor, and impressed on his Ireland U16 debut in victory over Wales earlier this year. A very talented young midfielder and an exciting opportunity to show what he can do.

Why I love this tournament so much - incredible

FOUR goals for Harry Rehill as Ireland defeat England 💫 The Shamrock Rovers youngster scored all four, including a first-half hat-trick, in an incredible individual display as Ireland claimed a hugely impressive win at the U15 World Cup. The result moves Ireland one point ahead of England heading into their final group game against Cambodia today at 4:45pm. Victory would secure top spot and progression to Tier A. Unfortunately, the game ended in difficult circumstances after an England player alleged that an Irish player had made a comment. The details remain unclear, and hopefully the matter can be clarified quickly. Ireland have been awarded the three points, leaving their hopes of topping the group firmly in their own hands.

4-1 to Ireland with six. Harry Rehill with his fourth from the penalty spot.

HARRY REHILL WOWWWW

Another two goals for Ike Orazi yesterday 💥

James Abankwah starts against AC Milan!

A moment of pure class from Josh Harpur in his brace against Frosinone’s U18s earlier today! 🎯 It’s been a superb start to life at Como for Harpur, who is now training full-time with the first team - the only player from the club’s youth setup currently doing so. While that has limited some of his involvement in youth league games, it speaks volumes about how highly he is rated and the potential the club see in him. Harpur has also featured heavily in behind-closed-doors friendlies during the international breaks, even getting on the scoresheet for the first team.

Great to see Tayo Adaramola back from injury.

FIFA have done A LOT wrong in recent times but got to give them credit where credit is due - this U15 World Cup has been brilliant. Superb viewing and incredible platform for players from every nation there.

Ireland produced a excellent second-half comeback to rescue a 3-3 draw against Nicaragua at the U15 World Cup 🫡 The young Boys in Green went into half-time trailing 3-0 after Nicaragua’s shoot-on-sight approach paid off spectacularly. In this eight-a-side format, you could hardly blame them for having a go whenever they entered the Irish half and some of their first-half finishes were outstanding. But Ireland responded brilliantly after the break, with goals from Darragh Nolan, Nathan Power and Harry Rehill bringing them back level to salvage what could prove a valuable point. Attention now turns to tomorrow morning’s meeting with England (10:30), with Ireland needing to win both of their remaining games to secure top spot and a place in Tier A. It remains in their hands after another dramatic game in what has been a hugely entertaining tournament so far.
