ALINA🍁COMM OPEN

ALT exciting and challenging parts of this commission was the Pokémon selection. Usually trainers stick to a single type but this team was wonderfully Piplup is the Natural. As a Water type Piplup was the perfect center. I positioned him enjoying the bubbles acting as the bridge between the trainers and the aquatic theme. Eevee represents the Heart and adaptability. I painted Eevee with a slightly fluffy texture that catches the underwater light making the fur look soft even in a liquid setting. Tynamo provides the Glow. Being an Electric type that looks like a sleek silver fish Tynamo was perfect for adding motion lines to the water. Its glow provides a secondary light source that illuminates the trainers' faces. Finally there is Salandit. A Fire and Poison type underwater is where artistic liberty shines. Instead of making Salandit look out of place I gave it a relaxed floating pose. It suggests that in the world of friendship even the most unlikely companions can find peace together
