1/ Excited to announce that @guruvamsip, @xosmig, @XiangZhuolun and I have a new paper on building a high-performance mempool for Aptos, which runs directly on the Aptos validators: eprint.iacr.org/2025/2032. The paper has several cool ideas:

5/ Second, we've worked hard to integrate our scheme tightly with consensus. In particular, we show how to pipeline the vast majority of the computation work off the critical consenus -> execution path. See @XiangZhuolun’s thread for details. teapawt.net/XiangZhuolun/status/19…
1/ A good blockchain should protect users from MEV (Maximal Extractable Value). At Aptos Labs, we built an encrypted mempool to hide your transactions until they’re ordered for execution. But privacy isn’t free — the question is: How do we deliver confidentiality with efficiency?

6/ We've built an end-to-end prototype which integrates our system with Aptos consensus/execution, and can support >1000TPS with minimal latency overhead. Working as we speak to productionize and launch; expect it to hit devnet soon!
