Trinity chose Labour. They rejected this garbage.
Andy Burnham’s vindictive politics is taking millions from well run, southern councils like Wandsworth and using it to subsidise the North.
The previous Labour administration left behind a £137 million black hole and are now leaving taxpayers to foot the bill.
Electing @OttoJacobsson today in Trinity ward in Wandsworth will give Conservatives the majority needed to fight this injustice and secure a fair deal for Wandsworth.

The Tories threw everything at Trinity. Kemi Badenoch came down, Susan Hall lied about the Tory being a police officer, they had shadow cabinet members trying to hammer it on social media.
In the end, it was doorbells, graft and persuasion conversations which won it.

Congratulations to Shirin Georgiani, new Labour councillor for Trinity ward.
Residents voted for a great local champion, supported by the wonderful @DrRosena.
Voters are clear: the Tories need to scrap their plans to double Council Tax
Congratulations to Wandsworth’s newest councillor, Shirin Georgiani!
Today voters sent a stark message - they have utterly rejected Wandsworth Tories Council Tax hike.
Shirin will be a dedicated local Councillor who will stand up for the residents of Tooting Bec and Balham.
Tomorrow, voters in Tooting Bec and Balham (Trinity) have a simple choice - a Tory candidate who backs cuts and Council Tax rises or Labour's Shirin Georgiani.
If you live locally, make sure to get out and vote Labour tomorrow. – at Wandsworth, London

How sad to hear Dolly Parton has died. An incredible talent - with a heart of gold.
She overcame poverty & never forgot how not being able to read held back her father.
❤️ Thanks to Dolly, every child in Wandsworth gets a free book every month from birth to their 5th birthday

The Wandworth Tories are making increasingly weird attacks - as they try to justify their awful plan to double your Council Tax.
I’m now accused of spending £600 on personalised greeting cards while leader of the council.
I admit it. It’s true. Each Friday I would set aside time to write notes to thank people for their contribution to Wandsworth.
Local charity volunteers, proud headteachers, council staff who went above and beyond, victims of crime, re-opening restaurants, care leavers, newly qualified apprentices & residents who had shared robust feedback.
(Here’s the card I sent Frank Bruno after his knockout appearance at the Town Hall.)
Something about a hand-written note really connects with people. It was lovely to see just how many people wrote straight back.
A few hundred people in all got cards from me. I also aimed to hand out my business card to half a dozen residents I met each week.
Not much in itself. But over time it adds up. After four years as leader, it meant more than 1,000 people had been given my email address and phone number.
It was really valuable for people to get in touch directly when there was a concern in their street, a problem with parking or we had missed the bins.
So it’s worth thinking twice when you see attacks on “extravagant” council spending like “£600 on thank you cards”.
Wandsworth council spends hundreds of millions of pounds of your money each year.
Local people are clear they want councillors to work hard to keep top class services with affordable Council Tax.
It is foolish to think the fair way forward is to double Council Tax - or to stop saying “thank you” to local people
Leader of @WandsworthLab treat Council finances like fun and games. But then again he spent £600 on personalised greeting cards, so is anyone surprised?

Susan Hall has a track record of spreading false information.
Here she is yesterday saying the Tory candidate in Trinity was a former police officer. Now deleted.

That’s how many days Conservative candidate @OttoJacobsson has refused to say how he’d vote on Council Tax, if elected.

@OttoJacobsson will you vote in favour of this if elected on Thursday? The voters of Trinity deserve to know...

Extraordinary statement from Wandsworth Council’s Tory deputy leader in the Times today.
He confirms that the Tories are planning to double your Council Tax.
This is dreadful news. Many local households can’t afford to pay more.
The Wandsworth Tories are cruel and chaotic
Wandsworth Tories secret plan has been revealed!
Your council tax will go up a whopping 160%
Under Labour, Wandsworth had the lowest council tax in Britain and some of the highest reserves in the bank.

Kerry has been Labour all her life - leafleting as a child, campaigning in by-elections, standing as a parliamentary candidate in 2024.
She knows Labour is at its best when it's broad, open, and confident in its values.
Vote Kerry in the CLP section.🌹

Had a distressing conversation with local parent.
Wandsworth Labour gave more than 1,000 low income families school uniform vouchers each year. So children start school with confidence & dignity.
Disgracefully, Wandsworth Tories have ended the scheme. It’s causing real hardship

You can’t trust anything the Conservatives at Wandsworth Council say. They’ve been found to have breached rules on Council communications -
and what are they NOT saying about Council Tax...🧐???

The Wandsworth Tories have been caught out.
They are using the council like a Conservative Party press machine, misleading residents.
They are doing it to try and influence the result of a crucial by-election.
