Remote work is the best way to live and work. Todoist has been remote since 2007. Our employee retention is 90%+, and over 20% of the company has been with us for more than 10 years. There’s no way in hell we would ever go to an office culture,
My strongest “vibes not evidence” belief is that remote work is a cancer that’s making (most) people miserable even though it seems better in the short term.

The new Todoist Quick Add is coming along very nicely. Lots of lovely details like transitions and animations 👌 The team has been cooking. Also, things like AI scanning of text, documents, and images are baked in, not bolted on.

Small QoL improvement: you can now use Markdown tables in Todoist descriptions and comments. The add/edit experience still needs to be better 😊 🎩-tip to .@rfgamaral

Many years ago, we built Todoist Quick Add. It’s become one of our most loved features. Many of our competitors copied it. We’ve started internal testing on a much better version. Keeping things “Simple yet powerful” for almost 20 years ✨

In 2007, I built @Todoist so I could manage my school and work... In 2014, we added sharing to Todoist so people could manage their work better together. What comes next will be Todoist's biggest evolution yet. Any ideas? 🤩 Stay tuned – exciting news is coming next week!

If you plan to wait until you're "good enough" before applying for a job, you are 1: misinformed about the average skill distribution at software companies, and 2: going to spend a long time learning the wrong things without being paid
